Excellent afternoon tea experience. We had the Festive Afternoon Tea set accompanied by their Grosvenor House Blend tea, which was truly delightful and beautifully presented. Very comfortable atmosphere with live piano music. Superb customer service, especially from Valentina who took care of us throughout our whole stay. Definitely coming back. We were told The Park Room does require a booking reservation but this was very easy for us to do through their website.
I stayed at JW Marriott for couple of days. It is hard to miss this place if you are going in from the Park Land entrance. We saw people have the time of their life in there, so we thought we should give it a try. What we didn’t know was that you have to make a reservation for the high tea. The waiter however was kind enough to ask the kitchen if they have an extra set left to serve, and they did! The variety and the presentation of the food were good. And the selection of the tea is phenomenal! However, I wouldn’t say that the taste was on par with the price tag. The service as you can imagine was quite attentive. That was my first high tea experience, and overall I enjoyed it.
First, my friends and I were VERY late...VERY later, but after a little pleading the staff was able to move some things around and accommodate us. They treated us like royalty. There was a vast selection of tea and they were tasty. We liked almost all of the food. Didn't care for most of the desserts. Our waitress Siri seen in the picture was polite and attentive. The staff were kind of enough to take pics and boomerangs of us, which was much appreciate. I definitely recommend this place!
The delicious afternoon tea at the Park Room & Library is a unique time to gather friends around a table filled with various types of tea and delicious desserts. An excellent experience!
Service was quite slow although the afternoon tea was splendid, yet very expensive considering the speed of service. The pianist was good.
We went there for the afternoon tea and from all the places around the world that we have been to this was a unique and extraordinary experience. From the friendly hostess that treated us, to the excellent service from our server Altay we were flashed and impressed. The food and tea was also delicious, but truly the kindness of the staff made this experience so unique.
Amazing place, amazing food! The service was absolutely incredible, especially Siri she was so kind and helpful! Was very patient with us! Had a great experience overall
Fabulous afternoon tea experience! This was my first afternoon tea experience and I absolutely loved it! The venue is impeccable, the ambiance is great very well completed by the live piano. Excellent service by Manuel who was our star and made sure that everything was just perfect. Very polite, professional, presentable and friendly. The venue, the ambiance plus the service and presentation was just the perfect match. To add to it Manuel offered us some take away cakes as we left. Would highly recommend!
For me, definitely the place for an afternoon tea. A bit to the expensive side, but with a 5 star service and worth every penny. Remember ... Have a light lunch...as this tea will be worth lunch and dinner. They are very generous with the refills and the cucumber sandwiches are magnificent. This is a real afternoon tea experience.
I wanted to give Park Room five stars, but when bringing three people to the afternoon tea we found the service confusing and not at all up to standard. This was a grave disappointment when I booked on behalf of a guest who had flown in especially for valentine's day. We received two tea stands, and instead of one person recieving his own and the other two of us receiving enough treats to share, I had to sit and saw each dessert in half with a butter knife. Sandwiches you can request more of, and scones as well I believe. So that everyone could try each cake however, it was unnecessarily stressful and messy. I've taken tea all around London and even less expensive locations offer a more logical solution. We decided later in the week to try the Mandarin in Knightsbridge which was lovely but even so my valentine's lunch on the day was not up to par.
