Lovely coffee shop at Duke Street. Amazing atmosphere and ambience, with ever so welcoming staff. We had ordered a mocha and a pour over. The pour over was an Ethiopian blend which tasted amazing and was brewed to perfection. Will definitely be back again.
Wonderful, friendly customer service from the offset. The gentleman that served us remembered small details from our previous visit. The Matcha is the best I have tried in London hands down. They have a huge variety of coffee beans and loose leaf tea. Even the experience of weighing the coffee is traditional.
This place is expensive, BUT a nice splurge! The attention to detail in coffee making & service is impeccable. Our coffees were spectacular, which made up for the average pastry. There’s a downstairs area which is tucked away but very welcoming & has good natural light.
Amazing coffee shop and specialty coffee store. They roast their coffee and prepare it to perfection downstairs. Staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help.
This is 'the' coffee shop and coffee supplier. Located at 79 Duke Street W1 in London’s Mayfair, this is a coffee lovers' dream. The shop is split over two floors, and the ground floor has a takeaway service along with the shop where you can purchase from a range of distinct house roasts along with coffee accessories. The basement has a coffee bar. The interior of the shop is datk and sexy with staff who are both helpful and knowledgeable about coffee. The shop is supported by a website for those unable to go to the actual location. I highly recommend a visit and the Peru Inambari Fairtrade coffee. Coffee is sold by the 250 grams and can be either whole bean or ground to choice.
Serious coffee seller & Barista making excellent pour overs. Properly categorised beans roasted a week before as told. Sold by weight, not packets. Barista knows coffees very well and passed all parameters perfectly. Must visit instead of wasting time at hyped coffee shops. Royalty approved!
I heard that this brand is popular in my home country Japan, so I tried it out if it's really good. We went to the cafe area basement to get some coffee, which I think filtered coffee is the best choice - it was very pure and easy to drink. The cafe space is rather tight and can be quite loud - not the best environment but decent enough for their coffee or tea. What was most surprising was that there were many Japanese waiters. They were all very attentive and kind, and those who are visiting from Japan would appreciate it a lot that they can speak in Japanese.
I’ve ordered Americano yes the taste was light for me, but my friends liked it and I’ve tried the latte and I liked it more. It’s always a must stop for me barista is super friendly & attentive.
Cute place, nice for a coffee date but it's basically a basement sauna in the summertime. Their coffee special was sold out so I ordered their special blend of Ceylon and Assam. Not strong enough for my taste.
Amazing coffee but the rest of the experience was very average. The sit down area downstairs is extremely cramped and hard to get around. You also sit very close to the next table and sometimes feels like you might even be on the same table. They do not make any food except whatever is in stock in their bakery basket. I luckily managed to get an almond croissant which was good. Bathrooms were a bit dirty. I would recommend the takeaway coffee but not the sit down.
