Great pub with lots of space and a great menu. Huge pub with lots of land on the edge of Leeds Castle. Very close to the Leeds Castle Golf course. Good menu with fish meat salads and a lovely Sunday roast. Lots of tables and chairs in the garden area. Big car park and lots of places to sit in comfortable chairs and a full restaurant area with table service. Good wine list too
First time being here and come here for Mother’s Day. The was a special a Mother’s Day men, which was one of the reasons we choose that venue. There was some miss understanding as to what wasn’t included in the bill as part of the special menu. We had arrived earlier but couldn’t order champagne until 10 am. We asked the waiter, if they would still uphold the special menu prices should order everything else then at 10 get the champagne as it was park of the offer. She wasn’t very sure, said she will ask but never returned with an answer then ordered a few more things of the select menu, the food was nice and portions were bigger than what i was expecting compared to some London venues. I don’t feel the sausage was high quality and didn’t have much taste / flavour to it
Got an on the spot table for 4 for Sunday lunch. Nice surroundings, clean and well kept. All had variations of Sun roast, nicely cooked and well presented. Very friendly and attentive staff
The food here is of really good quality and the staff very accommodating. For instance we where seated next to a couple with a whiny dog I don't take my dog to restaurants because she behaves like that, and they very kindly got us another table with minimum fuss away from the said whingeing mutt. The food is a very reasonable price and I feel safe in there covid wise as the tables have lots of space around them. All in all its reasonably priced.
So we visited this restaurant due to having a 50% voucher on main meals, Starting with the restaurant, the interior was pleasant and warming, two open fires which was a must as it was freezing outside We ordered the hunters chicken and the beef and chianti casserole, both where amazing , so so good, followed by a crème brûlée , equally as good The staff where attentive and looked after us really well, considering how busy it was they did themselves proud. We will definitely be visiting again, as this place is a credit to the management and staff Well done Park Gate Inn
Food was delicious. Roast was splendid and the presentation was fantastic. Loved the Flower Pot dessert where everything was edible. Would return and recommend
My self and my mother went to park gate inn new years eve afternoon We did not pre-booking. We was shown straight to a table. Very good customer service straight away. We had a young man serve us and he was very polite tentative and professional. The food came out quick. Was delicious hot and tasty. We throughly enjoyed the experience and would definitely return. Very good food. Very good service and a nice cosy country atmosphere
Had a family meal there last night which was lovely. Friendly and smiley staff and Hannah looked after us very well. Lovely Pub very well kept and clean with lots of nooks and crannies. Lots of beams and character. Great choice of food with generous portions and piping hot on arrival. Will definitely be going back!
Really lovely staff, happy to let my dog in and suggested we sit by the fire as it was a cold day. Dog settled down and was happy. I asked for a recommendation from the vegan options a roast as we went along on a Sunday, and a penang curry and was suggested the curry, which was fantastic. They have a few vegan options here, lovely staff and a really nice atmosphere.
On our way to Folkstone we stopped at the Park Gate Inn, a pub of character, for a late lunch. We had soup & roll followed by a dessert. Both the food & service were excellent. We were asked if we had any allergies, as I am allergic to eggs, the waitress made 100% sure there was no egg used in the making of my meal. Highly recommend.
