Lovely little restaurant, friendly relaxed atmosphere. Could not fault the food, the squid and the lobster were amazing. Highly recommended! We will be returning.
Really enjoyed. Lovely little restaurant with about 20 seats. We wanted fish, and the dishes were lovely. Particularly enjoyed the hot spiced crab. Perhaps a bit of variety of sauces white wine and cream-based was almost everything would be better but understand the limitations of a small kitchen. Dessert was very nice too. Cash-only is a massive pain these days had to go to a cash machine for literally the first time in a year, but that seems to be how they want to run it. The steaks looked amazing btw, bit jealous.
Transported to an Italian seaside village this little restaurant offers a wonderful range of authentic cuisine in decent portions to ensure you are satisfied Very attentive service and a cosy atmosphere Thoroughly recommend but please book You will not be disappointed x Kid-friendliness: We had our 11yr old and 6 yr old with us There were well catered for and looked after
Outstanding in every department service, quality, portion size, flavour. The best restaurant in Looe. Book in advance. You will not be disappointed. Spicy Crab Bake starter is a must try
Absolutely wonderful meal tonight. Have been coming to this restaurant for over 20 years, and the quality, value for money, ambience and service hasn't changed. Flavour full and large portions, and knowledgeable, friendly service. Will return
A very prompt, friendly and personal service gave the impression of sitting in a homely place with as-impressive food to match. The stars of the meal were the spiced hot crab and the pasta salmon & prawn; both of which were full of flavour and noticeably fresh. We’ll certainly be returning.Recommended dishesSeafood Pasta, Lobster Thermidor, Spicy Crab Bake
Waiter service very good just a shame our main meals were poor. Starter: mussles nice, garlic mushrooms looked like they were floating in gravy! Mains; carbanara, very bland with far too much cheese sauce. My partner had the special without the crab just prawns, again too much sauce & very bland. We didn't risk dessert. We let the waiter know our disappointment and paid in full for all dishes.
Very disappointed, only taking cash or cheque, not told this when booking table, although wanted card details for £30 cancellation charge with booking. Really can’t understand this. I then had spaghetti with scallops and a tasteless runny sauce, my husband had spaghetti bolognaise, definitely not a genuine bolognaise. Certainly not authentic Italian
The food here was absolutely amazing would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting looe in Cornwall the staff were great
Excellent service, amazing food, lovely cosy atmosphere, highly recommended, looking forward to another visit soon
