We visited The Old Sail Loft Restaurant during our weekend in Looe. It’s based in a very quaint old building, and had a lovely outside terrace area too. Unfortunately, it was raining during our visit so we couldn’t enjoy the outdoor area.  We took advantage of their 2 course set menu which was very good value for £22 at time of writing. The Duck Parfait was sublime and the Hake Kiev was also very tasty, albeit a little on the small side. Service was friendly too.  If you’re looking for a delicious meal in a lovely surrounds, then The Old Sail Loft Restaurant will certainly tick all the boxes in Looe.

Me and my partner were on our last day of holiday and decided to treat ourselves to a meal out.  I am so glad we did as we discovered this absolute gem of a place.  The food and service was absolutely outstanding.  The staff are a credit to the restaurant, they’re so attentive & helpful when it comes to ordering food & drinks that you may not be sure on.  I cannot express how lovely the whole place is, don’t hesitate to visit. I will definitely return!

Really delicious food! Beautiful building, only complaint Is that each course took a while to come out, we were there almost 2 hours and we waited almost 40 minutes for the dessert and half a hour each from the starter and then 30 mins for the main, again the service from the staff was brilliant and food was delicious and I'd 1000% return for the quality of the food

Cannot recommend this place highly enough. Cosy, comfy, friendly welcoming staff providing excellent service. Food is absolutely amazing, great coffee. Oh and dog friendly, Chester enjoyed his visit very much

A rather disappointing meal all told. The food wasn't anything special and lacked the care that I was expecting. Flavours clashed a little too much and dishes weren't well thought out. On the plus side the wine list had some nice wine reasonably priced

Lovely dog friendly restaurant right on the edge of Looe harbour.  The food is outstanding and the service is brilliantly friendly.  The charcuterie platter starter is almost a meal in itself so make sure you go when you’re really hungry!  Main courses were Sea Bass with Cornish crab and saffron new potatoes / Fish Du Jour which was Hake with parsley sauce, charred tender stem broccoli and potatoes Anna.  Wish it wasn’t a 600 mile round trip to visit it.

Yet again a fantastic experience, friendly, knowledgeable staff, great service. This type of dining experience is a rarity these days, and even more rare to find it done so impeccably. Presentation was great but the taste was even better, well done and thank you.

The Old Sail Loft is located in Looe Cornwall. Loved the decor, staff and owners very friendly and helpful, the bar is on the ground level and the restaurant is upstairs,  the food is excellent as well as the service could not fault the quality of the food and the service, would definitely recommend and would definitely return again. Loved it

We went here for dinner.  I can honestly say it's the best meal we have had in Cornwall so far. Absolutely beautiful. Service excellent, food excellent we highly recommend this place you will not be disappointed.

Such a lovely place to go. We went at lunchtime. Beautifully presented meals, good wine and great atmosphere. 100% recommend
