First on entrance staff members and lawyers smoking and vaping right outside entrance when clearly signposted no smoking in that area. Could easily walk down the disabled ramp where not fair away is a bin. Security staff not at there post and speaking to reception so could easily skip past them.nnAt reception given 2 options so you could miss your court appearance if you are sitting in the wrong court.nnDisplay screens could be used outside the court to announce the court hearings. Instead the court uses them to display court in session be quiet. Easly a normal sign could be shown instead. Waste of electricity.nnIn court the timing clocks were not in operation.nnVery poor customer experience and I was only helping someone.
absolute joke of a place. Represent myself in a family cause and it very much is a woman can walk in make any manner of wild allegations against the father with zero independent evidence and get instantly believed. Another sheriff stated that he said she said evidence allegations and assumptions hold no weight but another sheriff based a whole judgment on exactly that. the mother made he said she said allegations with no independent evidence to substantiate it. It really is one rule for the female and another set of rules for the male. disgusting that two sheriffs made such a conflicting statement.
Visited the court for Doors Open Day. A lot of effort was put into it and the folk hosting the tour done a great job. Thank you.
Well managed court all factors considered staff management professional and helpul to visitors defendants witnesses.Also defence lawyers seem to be ooerating in a line comoatible with democratic Standards remand only used when necessary
came here on open day very nice tour but the cell were messy dont know whether it was real pee or a paint but they do warn you not to touch the walls
