Great show by Red Hot Chilli Pipers but it’s a poor venue. Seating is uncomfortable and very close to each other. The elevated seating bounced a lot when the audience was encouraged to jump about, doesn’t feel sturdy enough for this sort of movement.nnBar has absolutely no atmosphere, poor choice of drinks and very expensive. Also served in plastic, which is fine if you are taking it into the hall but you should be given the option.nnOther than the elevated seating and speaker system, I can’t see where £25 million of local money has gone. Had only been recently completed and the paint is falling off the walls. No benefit for residents of Renfrewshire for having funded the refurbishment, still get charged the same as everyone else and ripped off at the bar.nnCan’t really see this being a profitable venue at the moment. The council need to be doing better.
Great venue for concerts, we were in the top balcony and view and sound were great.
Attended our grandaughter's dance group performance. All of the staff were proactively helpful and positive. This, along with the excellent presentation and cleanliness of the venue gave a very positive impression.
Lovely building, drink choice is really bad and a total rip off. The wine is horrible the spice rum which anywhere else would normally be Morgans but unfortunately it was Bacardi spice which had a really strong vanilla taste not a fan had an non alcoholic beer staropramen a bit like earwax! What the hell townhall! We have a great distillery in town, buy local!! Have been to a few shows now, The latest being Ed Byrne which was fab! Staff are always great. The drink totally let's the place down.
Great venue for Gigs....Staff and Facilities are 1st class.
