Opened a new small business in Paisley just after the first lockdown. Following further restrictions I really wanted to talk with Mr Adam for guidance but found the whole experience very stressful. I was passed around different gatekeepers and was not able to actually talk with Mr Adam for over a week. Finally I got a call scheduled but it was for after the deadline for restrictions was due to end and so too late to help me in any way. As a local person trying to open a business for the benefit of the town as well as myself the whole thing was very disappointing. I also left a couple of very polite messages on Mr Adam’s Facebook page asking for the best way to make contact which were deleted and never responded to. After all this I got mildly frustrated on a phone call with one of Mr Adam’s staff after over a week of trying to make contact and he then finally called me back and accused me of being aggressive. The whole thing was very stressful. He also claimed I had been emailed regarding a specific query when I hadn’t I had the emailed chain proving I’d not been emailed. He then asked me if he expected me to believe my word over that of his PA. I later found out his PA is also his wife which made the whole thing even more frustrating as it seemed a little nepotistic.
George and his staff have been so helpful to me and my family over the past few years. He's a staunch supporter of Paisley and all its people and I cannot praise his office highly enough for the help they've given to us with the issues we've had.
George and his staff have been more than helpful to me and my family on more than one occasion. They really go the extra mile to help.
Excellent MSP Very Helpful Always Very Good Party SNP too.
