It really is about time Manichem got rid of social distancing demands. That’s so 2020 - and it causes unnecessary queues and delay.
Absolutely horrific in every way imaginable. By the time you get through the que and inconvenience them with your request for medication, you might as well have walked to Scotland for it. And that's before they try to fulfill the prescription. Even if they were manufacturing it back there, it could be quicker.
We have to drive from Pangbourne to this chemist to collect our prescriptions as Lloyds Chemist in Pangbourne are so understaffed. We have found them very helpful and efficient although still extremely busy.
Well, today I had a great experience at this pharmacy which is more than I can say about other Enimed Pahrmacies in Tilehurst. The staff were all fabulous, the shop is spotless, the service could not be better. What a surprise it was.
It takes 20 minutes to collect your prescription. IF! You are lucky and the first one in the queue. Very-very poor service!
In my own experience this pharmacy has improved tremendously in the last two months. Staff have been courteous and very helpful and prescriptions always accurate and on time. We are all quick to complain but give credit when it's due.
The worst pharmacy I have ever experienced! They never have our prescriptions, always blame the GPs and are always rushed off their feet apparently yet still somehow they believe they’re entitled to shut for an hour for lunch?!? Stay open, get on top of everything and just do BETTER!
This pharmacy has had a bad rap for a while, and understandably so - until recently. Staff who have now left made it very inefficient, and that was pre-Covid. So, I stopped getting my several repeat scripts from there and transferred to an online provider who deliver and are very good almost all the time. However, I still need to occasionally drop into Overdown on occasion for my own scripts and for others'. Staff there now are both more polite and certainly more efficient than used to be the case - long may it continue.
On several recent occasions despite ordering repeat prescriptions over a week in advance, the prescriptions were not ready and had to queue and wait in the shop for over twenty minutes while they were dispensed. No apology given, just said it takes time and they are busy. Now moving to other chemists that are better organised.
Phone off hook permanently. Prescriptions to vulnerable elderly not ordered or delivered. Miserable delivery driver. Disorganised.
