Very nice place, food was great for all of our party of 5, and 2 babies. Large and varied choice on the menu, the calzones being particularly favoured by us, although my wife said the steak was one of the nicest she'd ever had! Staff couldn't of been more attentive to our needs, and all our requests were met with a smile. Our first visit but definitely not our last.

It's a shame this place has changed, Marstons have changed this pub from a 2 for 1 to a pizza and steak restaurant. The food is still the same but the price has effectively doubled. We went early evening and were seated quickly. Upon ordering food we were then told that they had no burgers, which is pretty much a quarter of the menu. The service managed to be both poor and condescending, which is a rare combo. I understand that the parent company might wish to add an upmarket feel to it's pubs but this isn't achieved by a lick of paint and jacking up the price, the food, service or something has to change to reflect that fact I'm glad we have other food pubs local we can still go to because this is one we won't be going back to It's a shame really

First class service ( thanks to Naomi) and enjoyable meal. Nice selection of vegan options for my friends. Will definitely return!

Great food since the change to pizza and grill! Best pizza we've had in ages, not shy on the toppings. Very quick and professional service. Will definitely recommend and we shall be back.

Much better now they have done refurbishment. Good choice of meals really enjoyed it. A good family place for a meal together.
