Went there for lunch today. First time at this restaurant but it was a great experience. The staff were friendly and efficient. The menu was good and well priced. The food was excellent so will definitely be back again.
Popped in for an afternoon cuppa and saw the menu. Irresistible, very nice and well presented and the car parking is now free. Since it changed hands. Lovely decor. Kid-friendliness: Staff were very good and kiddies chairs provided
Huge variety on the menu. We had toasted sandwiches which were very tasty indeed. We had a great time here!
Day trip to Largs and we stumbled upon this restaurant. Chicken sizzle with chips and rice was delish and tradition fish n chips was great. We managed to leave a space for dessert and the cinnamon apple crumble with ice cream was our choice. We weren't dissapointed, it was heavenly. The staff were great, polite and attentive without being intrusive. We didn't wait too long for our meal despite the fact that the hotel had a wedding in their function suite who were dining at the same time as us. Returned with my Mum, she loved it too. This time chicken pakora, soup, chicken fajitas and waffles for desert, all were delish and huge portion, staff boxed up two filled wraps for us to take home.
Went for lunch between Christmas and New Year, slow but friendly service despite being near empty. Burger was a disappointment as it seemed like a frozen burger and not a fresh patty.Food: 3/5
Lovely restaurant we had Afternoon Tea, which was plentiful and good. Slight modern take with larger sandwiches and cakes than the normal dainty ones. Scones were a bit dry. Cakes - carrot, profiteroles and meringues were delicious. My companions loved the real roast beef sandwiches. Service was excellent as was the atmosphere and views.
We were staying at the Brisbane House Hotel for a couple of nights and used Oscars for our Evening meal and breakfast. Place was spotless, nice view across the Firth of Clyde. Good food, good choice on the Menu. Good selection of beets. GREAT Breakfast. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Seemed Popular with the Locals. Would definitely go back.
Service very slow. Had coffee and scones but scones were inedible, very stale and hard.Food: 1/5
The food was very good and great table looking over the water. The two girls who served us were friendly and efficient but kept very busy. Took awhile to get our bill at the end. Would go back again though.
We were given a afternoon tea as an engagement present..despite warning of partner being glutten free, we had to argue about sandwiches..when they came, beef was tough, chicken was dry, salad consisted of a couple of wee bits of greenery, meringue had tinned strawberry, scone was hard and cream had skin on it. We asked to speak to manager and were told she was busy on phone but she would be there in 15 minutes..25minutes later we were told that she was still busy but we could email her..I said that was not a proper solution to be given to dissatisfied customers whereon after the supervisor reported back to manager, we were given a card and told to phone her..we left in disgust with my partner in tears...disgraceful management for a so called eating and wedding venue...
