There's more to McCabes than meets the eye. This welcoming pub extends beyond the atmospheric bar that greets you as you step off the street to include not only a comfortable back room for additional dining, but also a beer garden with ten picnic tables - an ideal place to enjoy a Belhaven Best Extra Cold on a warm summer's day. Children are welcome in the restaurant area until 7pm. On certain nights through the year, McCabes will put on live music. With six televisions and two Sky boxes, the pub is a popular destination for football & Rugby fans

Used this bar and restaurant a few times when on holiday in largs great atmosphere and staff very friendly and professional great range of meals and dog friendly and as a big beer garden at the back of the pub and definitely will be going back to this place next year when on holiday in largs give it try when you are in largs even has live sports and has live music bands so I would really recommend that if you are visiting largs try this place out
Me and my friends came down from Greenock and spent all afternoon in the beer garden, great staff and the weather was kind to us as well, fantastic day out, we all thourghly enjoyed our day
Stopped over in Largs Sunday 7th September and spent a rainy late afternoon here.nFirst of all, the reasonably priced Guinness was good and poured correctly. Good 1st impression.nWe had the rump steak a while later and it was excellent. Better than my last M&C steak for sure.nOur dog also seemed to like the free issue gravy bones ;nFriendly bar staff too.n5 stars
Stopped in with our fussy eater of a niece and i quote “the best and cheesiest mac&cheese everrrr” also got the lasagna all food was delicious and such a big portion! Staff were really friendly and couldnt do more thanks!
Popped in whilst visiting Largs as part of a work trip. Was apprehensive at first, as smaller pubs full of locals can feel daunting, but i was so wrong. I could not have felt more welcome.nnFood was amazing, and i would highly recommend Haggis fritters, which i had as a starter. The portion sizes were great, and the food arrived so quickly that I was able to catch the train back a hour earlier than i had planned.nnWill absolutely be back next time im up this way!
