There's more to McCabes than meets the eye. This welcoming pub extends beyond the atmospheric bar that greets you as you step off the street to include not only a comfortable back room for additional dining, but also a beer garden with ten picnic tables - an ideal place to enjoy a Belhaven Best Extra Cold on a warm summer's day. Children are welcome in the restaurant area until 7pm. On certain nights through the year, McCabes will put on live music. With six televisions and two Sky boxes, the pub is a popular destination for football & Rugby fans

Stopped in with our fussy eater of a niece and i quote “the best and cheesiest mac&cheese everrrr” also got the lasagna all food was delicious and such a big portion! Staff were really friendly and couldnt do more thanks!
Very friendly and attentive staff. It was great that it was dog friendly with the provision of water and snacks. We both chose from the £7.49 menu chilli chicken wrap with chips/chicken avocado wrap with skin on fries with each including a drink. If you’re in Largs this is definitely the place to visit.
Worked in the area just over a year now. Started coming to the beer garden for food after work when the sun was out. Now I’ve started recommending it to folks! The chips are crispy and seasoned and the burgers are delicious, must be a good chef! There’s also a wee snooker table and the music isn’t too loud. Staff are always also lovely! Would bring more folks here!
Food was absolutely spot on, Steak Pie was on point. The staff were great & came to check on us every few minutes which was well appreciated. For a pub, this over-exceeded our expectations. Will certainly be back here.
Absolutely spot on. We were caravanning nearby and needed a local pub to watch the football to save us an hour+ drive home to watch it. Thankfully we came across this gem, which was also dog friendly win!. We spent several hours here, two adults, two children 7&9, and one dog. There was water and treats for the doggo, we all had lunch, drinks, and dessert, and were pleased with our meals and in particular the attentiveness of the staff. Additionally, there was free pool, which our children enjoyed. Loads of screens to watch the game, and we won to top it off : staff and patrons congratulated us on the win of our team too, which is absolutely brilliant when you think of the issues football can cause in some places. We felt very welcome all round and if we are ever in Largs again, we will definitely return. Thank you very much :
