That's my second time in Tinto and unfortunately the same experience. 1st time in Glasgow, second time in Largs. Food looks nice but tasteless. Service - yes they took order, yes they brought the food and gave me the bill. Nothing special.nVery small place. Definitely not for disabled people.nThey should update the play list, is like listening ABBA in any other restaurant.
There are a great range of choices for tapas on menu: salad, bread, vegetables, seafood and meat. We chose six tapas for two people, and the foods are excellent, especially seafoods.nnMussels are sweet and juicy, the mussels are slightly bigger than what you can find in supermarkets. Mussels in white wine, garlic and butter sauce give you a rich flavour.nnDeep-fried calamari is also another lovely dish. You can tell the seafood here is really fresh and the quality is very good.nnFor vegetarian choice, I love the deep-fried aubergines. They look like tempura in Japanese dish. Yet, the taste of the aubergine in Spanish style is a bit salty, but eating with honey is quite a tasty combination.nnAdmire the efforts of the chef and the lovely service of the waiters.
Just dropped in before 6pm and ordered the mini burgers, meatballs and ribs.nThe atmosphere was great, with groups out for a night out and families out for a early meal. Couples as well.nThe welcome was warm, and the service was 1st class.nFood was hot, tasty and very delicious.nWill be back soon. My only regret was I have taken so long to find this gem
We were staying in Largs while going to The Open, we went twice and both times the service and the food was excellent, definitely recommend had a lovely meal
My first visit and it will not be my last!nWent with my daughter and son in law and stupidly didn't not check the website and book a table - the hostess was so kind and managed to seat us and believe me it was busy!nWe had 4 tapas each Tapas Tuesday,! and each was delicious. My personal favourite was the pork cheek.nThank you!
