I came across Orwells pub whilst killing time before going to a pakora making class at Mister Singh's. I fancied a drink but wasn't looking for anywhere fancy or expensive. When I saw Orwells, I thought, " That looks like a wee ordinary pub." Mary behind the bar was lovely. She was very friendly and told my friend and I all about the fun activities that they have in the pub. It looks like a hundred years old, a proper old pub. Very clean and friendly. I would definitely go back were I in the area again.
Amazing local pub! Small buy really friendly
Not bad pint, nice pub and staff but maybe a wee bit cliquey.
Great wee pub for a few beers lovely staff and great banter
Very well priced, and the lady at the bar was lovely. Will visit again.
Very Friendly local Glasgow Pub, who were great in facilitating our special 100 birthday celebration. Good Beers Very Friendly
Lovely local pub hidden in the back streets close to Glasgow secc Hydro and armadillo
Great wee pub good staff and punters
Lovely little pub with friendly staff and good selection of drinks . Not too many draft selection but all favourites are in . No food only snacks . Toilet. Music that you can select yourself clean toilets and great prices for the area
Cheap beer a plus but this is an old mans pub with the average age 50. This bar was well known for shady things going on inside and that seems to be back again. Bar may be quiet on some week days where there may be only two or three of us drinking in the bar, but go to the toilet and there may be eight people selling their gear. A nice enough bar but with what goes on behind the scenes makes the barras market look lame.
