Story

Glasgow's original diner & pre-theatre venue

Today this beautiful bar, diner and venue enters a new era as one of Glasgow's much loved institutions, with new independent owners investing in it's future.

Everything that is special and loved stays the same - including the legendary chicken goujon!

A restoration programme, New amazing function spaces, the launch of a new menu and a range of new ales, beers, gins and whiskies are all being introduced.

We hope you come join us on this new journey!

Just good. Right opposite the Kings Theatre and popular. Good ales too.
Lovely gin menu good food and nice friendly staff x
Clientele seemed a bit .... Entitled? Which is weird but the staff were nice and the actual place itself was nice. Wasn't sure if it was the comedy gig that was attracting the crowd but it didn't feel particularly welcoming or friendly
Beautiful listed interior. Lots of wood panelling. Very laid back atmosphere. As it was Wednesday it was pretty quiet. Due to its close proximity to the kings theatre I know that it is really busy at Weekends.
I've been here a few times and always had great service. Nice pub to hang out in with friends and have a chat. They also have a decent function room. Very well located for pre/post theatre drinks as it is just across the road
Traditional style pub with plenty of character which is getting harder to come by these days. Tends to be busy Friday and Saturday and not the easiest place to find a seat but there's a big bar area and seats outside. Nice mix of ages with good prices and staff are friendly.
Great pub drank in here many many years ago glad to see it has not changed that much and brought back some good memories as I walked in. A good pint of Guinness served by friendly and welcoming bar staff and only hope it will not be that long before I am back
