We spend a lot of time here, my kids do swimming lessons and both have a blast at them. Their confidence has come on leaps and bounds!

The spa is just the answer to my stay at home mum needs! Having the membership inclusive of the spa means I can avail of the thermal journey anytime! Lush!

So I booked my sons 6th Birthday party here from 12.30-2pm just to have a stress free time.

Here’s how it went....So the set up is great we had the bouncy castle and soft shapes that the kids all loved however 20 minutes before our party was over 1.40pm,  2 female staff members came in ORDERING the children off the bouncy castle (witnessed by other parents) and another 2 turned off the music, when I asked why they were doing this I was TOLD  “your party was over 10minutes ago and the next party is waiting”  when I said I had the room until 2pm they said no it’s on our rota to which I replied you need to check that as I’m sure it’s until 2 so off she went to check while I had several upset children to attend to one being my son and the bouncy castle had totally deflated at this point, on the return of the staff member she said sharply to the other staff member “put it back on”. There was no apology and they seemed annoyed with me that I had questioned them, it was a very embarrassing situation.

 So the last 20 minutes of my sons party felt very rushed as I was then aware that another party was waiting and at 1.55pm staff were in the room cleaning up around us, I had to do cake and hand out party bags and literally throw my guests out without a thank you. 

Two days prior I tried contacting Olympia to confirm numbers for set up to which I was asked for my number and told would get a call back, that never happened so when I arrived I was 7 chairs short. I also asked if it would be possible to arrive a little early to which I was ‘told’ only 5mins. On the day I arrived 15mins early and informed the girl at the desk I was here for a party,  before I had a chance to finish my sentence I was again ‘told’ “upstairs through the doors on left” no eye contact or anything. I found this very rude. 

The main thing was that my son had a great time to which he did it’s just a bit disappointing that as a paying costumer I had a bad experience and it wasn’t as stress free as it should’ve been. 

The room was only booked for 11/2hours but unfortunately the last 20mins were ruined by rude staff telling me my sons party was over.

Excellent leisure centre full of modern equipment staff professional approach. Don’t complain they don’t respond this is not only my opinion I’ve spoke to other service users and this also has been their experience.  This company is more about making money not the users experience. Management could take a leaf out of their workers approach. And put people before profits.

The pool is CONSISTENTLY cramped... kids lessons at 5 5.30 and 6pm is a real pain for paying members looking for a fitness swim.. often isnt even one lane.... really need to do something about it as many others have said also they are considering cancelling their membership ..
