Great bakery with some of the best prices for croissants, pastries and loaves. Plus Borough Market is the best atmosphere. I highly recommend buying your bread from here!Food: 5/5
Great bakery with a really lovely feta and spinach pastry. Little overpriced but it is Borough market.Food: 4/5
Stale and overpriced. I will not be back I really wanted to like this place after walking by it multiple times in a row and eyeing the food. I went to their stall at the Hammersmith market and would not recommend. The texture of the cinnamon bun was dry, stale, and even chewy, which is not a word I've ever had to use to describe a pastry. It was also lacking flavor with only a tiny hint of cinnamon aftertaste. My friend ordered a gluten free cinnamon roll from another bakery for the same price and it was much better. We also ordered the brownie which, for a whopping £4, gave you a small sliver. They are all together in the tray, so it isn't clear what quantity you're getting for the price until after they cut into it. Certainly not worth the price. After buying it, a lady said she walked by the stall and noticed the exact same desserts set out in the same way with the same indentations in the brownies, indicating that they likely resold their baked goods multiple days in a row. That would likely explain the texture--even then the flavor is still to be desired.
£2.50 for an artisan almond croissant that tastes decent not the best I've had but for that price it's awesome. The banana bread was only £2 and delicious. For the price and considering the location it's top marks from me
I have often gone to this bakery either in Borough market or when they come to Wimbledon. For many years I have told my friends about their delicious almond croissants . This morning I thought I would treat myself to one for breakfast. However as I walked away the bad felt a lot lighter than normal the croissant . When I opened the bag the almond croissant was much smaller and also it didn’t taste nearly half as good as it usually does . I am aware of shrinkflation these days but there was also less frangipani in the croissant . It tasted more like one from Pret no disrespect to Pret. Very disappointed as I used to love the almond croissants from here. Hoping it’s just an off day or a bad batch .
Bought an almond croissant on Sunday at Victoria Park for £3.50 so expected it to be good, I was sorely disappointed. The croissant was stale and lacked any depth in flavour or texture. Unfortunately didn’t have vest customer service experience either. Save your money and buy somewhere else.Food: 1/5
Absolutely delicious, must try there almond croissants and the rosemary bread. Yassin was super helpful and his recommendation was get everything and he was right.
Bought my fav hot cross buns they were very nice not too sweet and y can see the orange rind and taste the warm spices. A little pricey but worth it as you are eating pastries and bread with good quality ingredients no nastiesFood: 5/5
The rosemary focaccia looked inviting. But that’s where it ends. Average to say the least. Being italian I might be picky but in my opinion this is really wasted money. Maybe their other products are better? Will find out…
It is a artesien bakery, crafts bread maker. I buy sourdough good qualty bread from here.it is £3.50. Unfortunately today 18th February2021 midday,I was not very much impressed with the way they had served the bread. I requested a sour dough bread stacked up at the front and well wrapped in a see through wrapper. But they wouldn't service this particular bread they said it was only for display, and the guy with his bare hands and not wearing gloves fetched another one from the tray that was not wrapped at all. Obviously, under this pandemic conditions, I didn't feel comfortable and hygienic with service. I urge they should serve their customers with all due care and the pandemic in mind.
