For the items they have on the menu in general, they are pretty hard to mess up, so I would say that everything that I have ordered was done properly, just not spectacular. I was satisfied with everything I have gotten, for a relatively reasonable price. I will say, though, that the mozzarella sandwich is slightly underwhelming because the vegetables around it seemed to just be placed there to be minimally edible. But the sandwich itself was pretty good, with mozzarella and balsamic vinegar constituting the taste. I enjoyed the full English breakfast, although it was slightly more expensive than the equivalent I have had elsewhere, maybe because the establishment was right next to the Tower of London, but that's okay. The food was solid and allowed me to have a good experience. For those around the area ready for a quick bite, and visiting the Tower of London, I would recommend this place.
We enjoyed a restful lunch after a few hours visiting the Tower of London. We visited this restaurant on a Sunday and we didn't have so many choices. Perhaps the menu is reduced during weekends. Overall quality food is good. I felt the fish and chips was too small compared to the price. Tartare sauce could be homemade doesn't seem to be. My friends found their burger slightly too dry beef patty was a bit overcooked
Lovely place and lovely people. A peaceful hideaway between the Tower of London and an ancient church with a sweet garden. I found a free table under a beech tree and enjoyed a quiet tea on a Sunday afternoon while the sea of tourists crowded about unaware of us. I shouldn't post such a great review because it will get mobbed and destroy the ambiance, but hopefully not.
We enjoyed our stay at Byward - friendly service, good food and comfortable venue. Outdoor area with lots of flowers and next to a church makes that spot special! Full English Breakfast - Top! Americano - approved Food: 5/5
Food was excellent and so is the atmosphere, lovely sunny garden in the city, a hidden spot. However service was painfully slow. Had to keep waiving down the waiter and had to go up to pay as it was taking too long.Food: 5/5
This place was perfect for a little brunch spot. The food was delicious and great as a vegetarian. I didn't want halloumi or tomato so they gave me and extra hash brown :Food: 5/5

Wonderful breakfast spot near Tower of London! Delicious lattes and food! The Baked Skillet with eggs was amazing! Wonderful waffles and continental breakfast as well- highly recommend!! Kid-friendliness: They made a custom butter and powdered sugar waffle for my daughter- very accommodating!
Gorgeous little eatery attached to All Hallows by the Tower. Food is good and fair for London prices.Food: 5/5
