Really enjoyed the Halloumi burger with the sweet potato fries. The chocolate orange cake was excellent. The not so adult hot chocolates had lots of cream and were studded with malteasers.
Enjoyed nice coffee and scone . Good place to eat warm and friendly.

Good food and service, however the tables/chairs/walls/salt & pepper pots were all grubby and looked like they could do with a good scrub and the stools looked like they could do with some attention! Shame because the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and good menu.

Many apologies...I did not realise there were 2 eateries at the same place. I have updated this review accordingly.
We came for a quick bite to eat and were seated very quickly... and then just sat there and got ignored. After the waitresses walked past a number of times without even making eye contact we decided to get up and leave Normally I wouldn't have minded a little wait but it wasn't busy at all.
