Love this pub. Great selection of beer, the staff are good banter too. Moved to the area recently and this is now a local. If you're in or around Chorleywood you should pop along.
Agreed to meet a friend at this pub on a wet Saturday afternoon. It was quiet when I arrived but steadily built throughout the afternoon. Staff were friendly and modest range of good beers at standard prices. No blaring music was a plus for me although I did notice that pub quizzes and live music nights take place. I would certainly go there again and happy to recommend.
The beef burger I had was great! It came with a very nice dill sauce, the flavors were really well balanced. The fries were nice, salty and crisp, just the way they should be. And the coleslaw surprised me with some black sesame seeds and herbs, to give it more taste. The staff was welcoming and nice. Overall a very nice experience, a place I would recommend.
Lovely pub, great food. Live bands, quiz night, wine tasting evenings, lovely south facing beer garden.
Lovely old pub with a nice cosy atmosphere. Good beers such as Rebellion. Did the monthly Monday night quiz which was well attended and good fun.
Great pub. Warm and comfortable. Good beer. Ace burgers!
Pub has been shut for many years, now re-opened. Had a great evening there, brilliant live music. New chef joining to put in place gastro menu. Recommended - we are going back there for a business meal tomorrow!
Loved this place decades ago, and so happy to find it's been reopened. Wonderful selection of beers and a fantastic south facing garden. Dog friendly. Haven't tried the food yet but hope to soon.
Really nice food, atmosphere and drinks. Definitely recommend!
Great little pub, great food and wine be decent beers on tap, usually including a coupled of craft beers
