Old Hall

Lovely place to eat, especially in the summer. We come quite often as the food is good quality and okay prices. Last time we went was only yesterday and probably the "worst" time we've had due to waiting times, but with a town festival, it being unseasonably warm then considering the wait wasn't too bad. Never had any other issues at all, and really enjoy The Old Hall.

Perhaps one of the oldest pub of the UK. Build on the ancient horse station on the road from Sandbach to Middlewich. The pub is in front of the cemetery of Sandbach, a reason more for a quiet atmosphere. The exterior is very old style and the interior reflect the choice of keeping a place stoned in the centuries. A good choice o beers and wines. The food is well prepared and the dishes are tasty and particular. The atmosphere is incredibly old and in the rest room you can find also a warm fireplace for the coldest evenings. One of my favourite pubs. I suggest it to everyone.

Reliably good food in a comfortable setting. Sensibly priced too, they have a decent choice of beer and wine and polite, friendly staff. The building is beautiful and has a lot of history (and ghosts apparently!) and there's parking out front for around 20 cars.

Got invited for Keith Appleton's 75th (sorry to mention it Keith!!) and the food was amazing. Had Venison Wellington cooked to perfection and finished off with great Bread & Butter Pudding. Have been there many times with Keith but this was exceptional in a private room. Most try.

Seems like a really nice place,it had a good country pub feel to it. I only went in for a quick drink but I had a read of the menu and it lookef like a good selection.will be looking at going back for food soon.
