My first time here and I was really impressed. Staff were friendly and attentive, the food was something else! Starters were superb especially the lamb chops, main dishes were delicious, rich and full of flavour. Nice decor and a comfortable feeling about the place. Will definitely be going back. Food: 5/5
Not for me Ordered a takeaway and had very high expectations when paying just shy of £27 for curry rice poppodoms and a naan for 1 person Chutneys didn’t include a mint yoghurt and wasn’t a fan of the tomato based chutney Mango one tasted fresh and was nice Naan was small, oily and cold…it tasted really buttery as well which I wasn’t a fan of I had the lamb rogan Josh and I understand that this is a more ‘traditional’ Indian but it was so bland lacked any spice or flavour Far too mild for me The lamb lacked flavour but was tender I couldn’t finish it Pilau Rice was really nice so that was good For the price it doesn’t deliver the expected wow factor unfortunately
Service very slow. Curry all taste like tomato and too much onion. Overpriced. Won’t be going again. Visited 4/2/23 party of six
I don't exaggerate when I say by FAR the best Indian food or food in general I've eaten out or had delivered! The delivery guy was also very courteous. I will take my family to the restaurant. Previous to this, I wasn't a fan of Indian food. This place sets itself apart. Compliments to the chef!Food: 5/5
2 Beautiful curry's but when you order poppadoms they don't serve onions only 2 very small pots of mango. They did replace the small pots when empty. Lovely restaurant and pleasant atmosphere and staff.
Really lovely restaurant, food was very nice. Look forward to our next visit. I would just say that the rice portion for the children's meal is too small for the amount of curry and the naan bread is also on the small side from the main menu.
So I finally got to eat here after a year of smelling their food cooking every night at work....I wasn't disappointed . The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were amazing. The venue is extremely nice looking and very clean....I will definitely be coming here again to try some more delicious food from the menu....
This was our first visit and was a mixed bag. Maybe eating at 6 was a bit early for a Saturday evening as the overriding feeling from the visit was disorganised and rushed. We six were seated promptly by a lovely, friendly young lady, and asked if we wanted popodums. Knowing that a visit to an Indian restaurant often leaves you a little over full we decided to accept and skip starters. The waiter then took the drinks order which arrived at the table in dribs and drabs spread over several minutes the last drink being so slow that we had to ask if it had been forgotten. A not very long time later the plates arrived for the mains, but we still hadn't seen the illusive popodums. Because the mains were now ready the popodums were brought out at the same time but thankfully we weren't charged for them. The food itself was everything we hoped for, the flavours were fantastic and the quality was excellent. If you have a big appetite be aware that the portions of rice and naan bread are rather small. Overall the service was disorganised even though the place was not yet busy, and to already be leaving the restaurant after less than an hour felt unnecessarily rushed.
New to the area and decided to give Creative Indian Kitchen a try for our Saturday night takeaway. Great selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes. Good portion sizes and fair prices. Will be ordering again.
1st time we ordered a takeaway, was possibly the best Indian I had ever had .2nd experience wasn't so good .Food was cold ,chips came in a plastic container so all sweaty and wet .chicken tikka had a funny smell to it which was really off putting. For a 50 pound price tag for a 2 course meal not good .
