This was a fantastic pub for drinking, with a bright design including a glass roof section! The lighting and blue walls add an interesting touch, counter itself is well laid out. I had a fresh pint of Stella Artois at a comfortable round table with cleanliness enforced, liking the Halloween decorations too at the time of my visit!
Came for my breakfast for my son’s birthday. Food took ages to arrive even though it wasn’t full. Husbands breakfast came out with a runny egg even though we asked for well done. My scrambled eggs tasted like they had stood for a week then microwaved before serving. Food was lukewarm at best. Had to have a refund for husband breakfast as it still hadn’t been redone by the time we had all finished ours. Really disappointed. We used to come for breakfast here most Saturdays and never really had a problem. The quality has definitely gone down.nServing staff were good though and sorted out the refund without issue.
Extremely slow. Wasn't even busy with at least half the seats empty. My breakfast took 35 minutes to arrive and my second drink took 15 minutes and forgot no fruit. Like this is a spoons? That's a long time for what it is. Not a fan.
Stopped off for a quick meal and you cannot complain. Good value for money and decent food and beer.
Worst meal ever had. Ordered steak and kidney pudding arrived with 1 piece of meat so over cooked and about 5 shrivelled chips. Sent it back and second 1 was a bit better but by then my husband had gone off his meal as didn't want to eat on his own.nHad to ask for table to be cleaned prior to this. Not a busy time as we ate around 6ish.nNo small bottles of prosecco and no pino grigio blush. Have to say the staff were great, not their fault but kitchen needs to be looked at. Won't eat there again. Sorry
