When we first moved to Eastbourne was so glad to find old Dave's. Been going there on and off for 3 almost 4 years and in that time it has just got better. Always found initially that the parties weren't seasoned, but on my more recent visits they season them well and I think are using an aged beef where you get a richer flavour. Buns are good quality and the chips are the best in town (apart from maybe two bulls steakhouse - but to be fair they're different types of fried potato so difficult to compare). Also good selection of drinks. I never really make it to dessert so I won't comment on that aspect. Prices as you'd expect are a little more than a McDonald's, but no dearer than half man, or 7Bone. The staff are always attentive and helpful... And also, they always have a good soundtrack playing and good atmosphere. Highly recommended.

We are regular customers at Old Dave's & we love it! We recently got married and had our wedding meal here. The staff were amazing! So accommodating and helpful with everything. We couldn't ask for more. Plus, the burgers are the best burgers we've ever had!

Not impressed, mediocre food at higher than average prices. We also found the staff to be a mixture of pompous and uninterested, possibly as we were using a wowcher but still no excuse, after all why offer the vouchers if you are going to be rude about honouring them.

Here for my son's 16, burgers are excellent and the beef is locally sourced. The spitfire is a thing of beef and chilli pepper beauty. The scotch bonnet marmalade is just magic. Service is friendly and helpful. Highly recommended will be back

By far the best burger gaff I have ever been to. Amazing food, quick service, friendly staff. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.
