With 11 treatment rooms the spa features a 20-meter swimming pool with waterfall, thermal suite with whirlpool, plunge pool, Japanese steam room, sauna and a fabulous rooftop hot tub.

Treatments include bathing therapy such as chromatherapy baths, Vichy hydro massage, and the Highland Fling, a 50-minute treatment that incorporates a Vichy shower with buckets of warm water.

I absolutely Love coming to St Andrews. I love the old course and everything single thing about it. Food is always great, service is always superior. Rooms are big and spacious. Such a nice treat to get up here for the weekend. The Spa is amazing. Treatments are done well. Took my sons this time after New year. They enjoyed it too. Can't wait to go back.
We recently stayed at the Old Course Hotel in St Andrews for one night to celebrate my birthday, and it was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Every aspect of our stay exceeded expectations, from the beautiful room to the outstanding service.nnThe hotel made my birthday feel extra special with a thoughtful card waiting in our room on arrival, which was such a lovely touch.nnThe spa facilities were incredible—truly one of the highlights of our visit. The thoughtful extras like flavoured water, plush robes, and health shots really elevated the experience and made it feel so luxurious.nnWe also had lunch at the spa café, where the lovely girl serving us went above and beyond. Although I didn’t catch her name, she surprised me with a cake with “Happy Birthday” written on it, which was such a kind and memorable gesture.nnA huge thank you to David and Neil from the concierge team, who were absolutely fantastic. Their service was exceptional, and they truly made our stay unforgettable—they are a real asset to the hotel.nnRoom service was excellent, and breakfast the next morning was just as impressive. Overall, a flawless experience—we can’t wait to return!
Stayed with family just before Christmas, had a great time in an Old Course suite. The hotel really went the extra mile for the kids ! The housekeepers made a teepee for them in the suite and gifted teddies. Breakfast and dinner in the Road Hole was superb. Room service was excellent, had fun in the pool and going to the Aquarium and into St Andrews. Alexandra was so friendly at breakfast and nothing was too much trouble. Our most enjoyable stay yet and the small upgrades in the suites and bar/restaurant have increased the overall aesthetic. The only potential improvement would be a small kids area like the Den at Gleneagles, not hard to do and if done correctly it’s a game changer for families.
The grounds, room, service and food is all amazing. Spacious rooms, beautiful flowers throughout, jigger inn is a must, perfect location to explore St. Andrew’. I got a Thai massage from Tree at the spa and it was 5 stars! Great experience all around and can’t wait to come back!
Lovely hotel. Beautiful surroundings. Limited vegetarian options which is a real shame. The room service staff was great- we asked them lots of questions about what we could eat because of our dietary requirements, and they were very helpful! Breakfast was decent, however, they weren't able to give us another vegan breakfast plate- which is a shame as it was such a small portion anyways, which seems unfair. Apart from that, the hotel really is in an excellent location, with beautiful views!
