Had a meal in the bridge restaurant on Saturday of bank holiday weekend. The place was extremely busy but plenty of staff to attend to all guests. The food is Italian with choices of pasta, pizza and chicken or steak from the grill. We had pizza and pasta which was fresh and delicious. The views from the restaurant look out across the 18th and first holes of the old course and out across the west sands, truly amazing location with excellent food. Well worth a visit.
We upgraded to a room with a view over the 18th fairway/green. Worth it. Spacious room. Very clean etc and modern. Service from all people in the hotel was super friendly. We stayed 4 nights and absolutely no problems. Food is very good - breakfast cooked to order. Location is A1 Prime for the golf and a 3 minute stroll into St Andrews town. All perfect.
This was our first time staying at the hotel and what an experience. From the moment we walked through the door the receptionist was on hand to check us into our room. Despite being 1 1/2 hr early, our room was ready, which was great and we could head out for lunch and a walk. The concierge took us to our rooms and made sure we knew how everything worked and were settled.nnBefore heading for a local dinner at Haar Restaurant, we had a drink in the 18th Bar on the top floor of the property, what a setting and stunning view across the course and beach.nAfter dinner we came back for another nightcap and there was a nice atmosphere within the bar.nnIn the morning we enjoyed breakfast, with another stunning view across the course and beach. We came down at peak time, so it did take a little while for the order to be taken, but appreciate this can happen during those busy peak times. A nice selection of breakfast included in the room cost.nnThe team was always on hand, helpful and courteous whenever we met anyone, smiling and welcoming. As a regular traveller, this was lovely to experience and well done to everyone at the hotel for making this a wonderful stay.
Beautiful., ornate hotel. Comfortable, spacious rooms and helpful, friendly staff. We had magnificent views over the Old Course.n5 minute walk to town centre with lots of cafes, bars and restaurants.nFood was delicious at Rusacks. We would definitely return.
I really enjoyed everything about this hotel. Right from the receptionist, waitresses, and cleaners. Everyone has exceptional customer service skills. The room was very clean and smell really good. The food was delicious and the hotel is just right in the middle of everything nice in St Andrews. The hotel was so good that they even sent a card and a bottle of wine for my Mr's birthday during our stay.
