Truly special hotel on the doorstep of the Old Course. During our 2 night stay we used both restaurants and both bars . The food, drinks and service at both was faultless. All staff that we encountered throughout the hotel were excellent. We had an itison deal and unexpectedly got upgraded to a fabulous room with a big bay window overlooking the 1st tee/18th green. This had to be my favourite Marine & Lawn hotel so far . Can’t wait to return .
We haven't visited this hotel since it's refurbishment and upgrade 4 years ago. They have done a fantastic job, modernising but keeping that old baronial home feel. Our room 602 was very spacious and well appointed with a grest view of the old course 18th green clubhouse and sea. We went to the 18th hole restaurant for dinner . The food was good and the service and staff excellent. Our breakfast the next morning ,again afforded a great view of the course and the food was excellent.nThis hotel has a very relaxed , welcoming feel and, for St.Andrews, good value .nWe will definitely return.
Wonderful stay at the hotel. Staff are incredibly friendly. Breakfast was delicious and its a great touch that you can choose as much as you want from a menu. We also had sunday lunch at 18 which was very good. Would avoid 18 bar for drinks as we were massively overcharged for 2 boozy hot chocolates £33!!. Fabulous views from the links rooms
Exceptional. Wish we stayed longer! Service from start to finish was welcoming, helpful and thoughtful! Every staff member we encountered was kind and went out of their way to be helpful. Bed was SO comfortable. Our room was lovely overlooking the old course. The bathroom was nice, but I wish we had a bathtub as well! Oh, and the website with things to do in the area was super helpful!
Just left The Rusacks St Andrews, we got an It is on and it was fantastic. We were looking for a quality hotel that was dog friendly. We knew once we emailed a few different hotels who we were going to stay with as the Rusacks got back to us with the full details and the hotel seemed far more dog friendly as some of the others hotels we emailed, some came back with basics and other just with their pet policy. But the Rusacks gave loads of good info so that was a major plus and why we booked. The staff from the moment if arrival were fantastic, the reception area is awesome, the room witth possibly one of the best views in st Andrews looking right on to the golf course.nnWe only stayed for one night but wish it was more, the food,. drink and the breakfast were all fantastic. The room decor is really cool and just what you want to see in a quality hotel.nnGreat stay, staff fussed over our wee dug, will defo be back
