Came here today after visiting the ELR What a nice pub! One of the best I've visited for a while. Big and clean inside with a nice outdoor drinking area. Also a little kids play area which was free that's always winner! We ordered off the app food and drink came quick and we eat everything so can't complain. only gripe was like all green King pubs food is reasonably priced but the price off drinks is ridiculous! £4.50 for a strongbow fruits come on green king sort it out!
Good parking space. Large areas inside and comfortable. The food was delicious. Affordable prices.
Had a party for my 2 year old son with a mixture of ages from 2-6yrs. All children enjoyed themselves. Debbie dealt with us from booking the party to the end. I couldn’t recommend a better person to sort everything out or place to have a party. There was no stress at all, the staff did everything from start to finish. We will definitely be having more parties there. The price was very good for everything you got and the staff was amazing. I’ve been to birthday parties before and seen the stress on the parents face which has always put me off doing a party for my kids. I’m glad I chose the wacky warehouse in rawtenstall and will be going back in the future.
2 new visits to mention how we Have really enjoyed our visits once after spending a day at the zoo. Then we just didn't feel like cooking. The staff are always so welcoming and also make you feel safe. The food was great too. New photos added. On arrival we were asked for track and trace details. Shown to out table by friendly staff member. The tables are distanced well away from other customers, we felt very comfortable and relaxed. They have the greene king app for booking and ordering food & drink. The food was lovely i had my favourite this time think its called sweet potato and chicken pea curry. This is actually more filling than it looks. You can add a naan to the meal. I sometimes order a side of chips but this time I wanted a dessert. I had the vegan option of the cherry bakewell with vegan ice cream it was lovely. I have since been again and this time had a new dish called the cornish pastie pie. It was very good and does taste very good. The gravy comes in a little gravy boat so you put your own on. I loved the crunchy pastry but it was a bit thick round the crimped crust, I still liked it though. They do have some really good favourites on the menu and the staff are always very friendly and helpful.
Nice area for kids to play... We didn't have time for food, but sneaky eye at the carvery...it looked amazing Will be trying soon!
We had a party here for my 4 year old. Very impressed. The staff went all out to give a great experience. All the children loved it. I would definitely come back and recommended having parties here. Debbie the party host was really attentive and made the experience great.
We are regulars here and come quite often however our last visit on Friday was extremely disappointing! One member of staff with blonde hair was extremely rude! Shouting at kids for running around which yes they shouldn't do but gives her no right to shout at any children. Food was nice but not as good as it used to be. My family has been put off about coming back!

What fantastic service we received today. We went in with our family dog, who unfortunately was going over the rainbow . The staff absolutely welcomed and spoilt her and where so understanding. Will definitely returning under better circumstances.
Enjoyed my visit today, the new play area is a huge bonus.it was clean when we went and not that busy. It got busy later on and the play area was too crowded. A very good idea having the play areas on opposite sides to stop the babies getting knocked over by toddlers and kids. Plenty of parking outside but it's often used as a overfill from the shops next door. I have been here plenty of times before and the food has always been hit or miss. This time it was a hit and felt like it had a massive overhaul of quality and presentation. Bonus points for this. The Sunday roast was ok, nothing too dry and just enough veg. The burger and breakfast however over the years has improved massively. The biggest issue I have with this is the food is deep fried in the same oil. It wasn't hot enough or had been swapped when we ate our food as you could taste it on all the food and it was thick. A few fries with the breakfast is normally welcome but a mistake that cannot be overlooked. Nice try, huge improvement and bonus points for the play area .looking to visit again .overall enjoyable will come again
