Very nice place, me and my girlfriend loved the food. Very tasty and decent sized portions for your money. I had a Sunday roast with lamb and it was so tender, my girlfriend had cheese and onion pie and it was very nice also.Food: 5/5

Full on enjoyable afternoon lunch. Staff warm and welcoming. Great service and food excellent, I had Cumberland sausage and mash. Value for money. Parking: Lots of it, side of building. Wheelchair accessibility: Straight walk in from main door.
This pub is just a little gem in haslingden, the food was incredible! The staff are lovely & there was a ukele band playing when we came which was lovely! If u can, call or contact to book ahead to make sure they have a space, but they managed to squeeze us in. Absolutely our new favorite, the burgers are next level! An absolute must

Lovely clean pub with a traditional feel. Nice views over the valley. Not too busy when we ordered food 4pm ish. We were seated immediately by the bar staff who took our drinks order and served it in minutes. Good start. I ordered gammon with egg, pineapple, chips and peas. Hubby ordered fish, chips and mushy peas. The service was quick and what a treat we got. My gammon was huge, the pineapple was fresh not tinned and the chips were home made, brown and crispy. Hubby's fish was like a whale in crispy batter. Not what we expected for average chain pub prices. Very pleasant staff made our visit outstanding. Highly recommended. Update 20-11-22. We were a party of 8 this time. The service was a bit slower but it was worth waiting for. Everything was fresh and beautifully cooked. The portions were generous. Once again the staff were brilliant. Will definitely make it a regular part of our family visits.
Amazing food and staff, it's good quality and large portion and really good value!
Have been a couple of times recently after reading the good reviews but was disappointed with the lack of choice. The chips were greasy and soggy as was the batter on the fish. Will give them another chance but not impressed so far. On a positive note,the staff are friendly and efficient,couldn't fault the service.

Problem with the chef at breakfast time. Staff sorted it all out. They went above and beyond to help. Stayed for lunch instead will defo be a monthly Sunday breakfast place.Food: 5/5
