Okka Café and Eatery is providing the Hertfordshire town of Harpenden with its own taste of café society. Situated on the High Street, Okka is a relaxed and vibrant addition to the local restaurant scene, offering all day dining in a chic but unpretentious setting worthy of any street in London or perhaps Istanbul. Such has been the success of Okka’s daytime service that the Café Brasserie extended its hours into the evening, allowing fans to not only kick back with a delicious breakfast or gossip at lunchtime, drop in for elevenses or indulge in an afternoon tea but to enjoy the restaurant’s own brand of simple, hearty, delicious food in a more intimate evening style. Children are welcome at any time, served with their own selection of Okka’s mouth-watering food which is informed by the multicultural staff, including a Turkish owner. From the best of British to favourite agean dishes, Eastern-informed mezze boards and Mediterranean flavour galore, this lovely dining spot offers something for everybody.

Visited this lovely cafe for the first time today. Cozy, nice pictures on the wall and incredibly helpful, friendly staff. The food arrived quickly and it tasted great. Lots and lots of options for different breakfasts to cater for everyone. I will definitely be visiting this gem again.
Lovely place on the High Street. Was treated to a birthday brunch here The service was good the staff are attentitive to your needs giving you enough space to relax & order no rush. The place is kept very clean from my observation... as soon as a table emptied the spray bottle & cloth were out for cleaning! The breakfast was freshly prepared to a good standard and presentation... I noted they do a lunch & dinner menu which is Mediterranean so I will definitely be back to try lunch & dinner one day... there is also a small outside eating area at the front Before I forget the prices are reasonable you won't be out of pocket!
I stopped at this place by chance and I liked it. Food and cappuccino were good, waiters were kind and I got a discount too for having breakfast during weekdays. Would come back again
Healthy portion sizes for the money. Very busy always a good sign the food is good, and very attention staff and quick service. Would easily recommend.
Amazing restaurant the food is delicious. My son wanted to have brunch and we had the Full Monty from Oka. It was really tasty. Well cooked, staff are really friendly and the atmosphere is great! Thanks Oka :-
DECEPTIVE SIGNAGE. I came here for breakfast having seen the BIG SHOUTY 15% DISCOUNT sign outside. In small text beneath, it says it applies only between 0800 and 1000. Fine, that works. Only when sat inside do I notice in *even smaller print* that this discount applies only Tues-Thurs. So WHY, I ask, is this sign on display on a Saturday morning if not to lure in customers under false pretences? I raised this politely with staff but was naturally denied the discount. Nice breakfast, if a little pricey even for Harpenden. However, no plans to return due in part to the above dishonest signage issue.
Service was fine, atmosphere was fine, food and price weren't. Sandwich using stale supermarket sliced bread, focaccia burger wasn't focaccia whatsoever, dry burger on a bread roll... For £17 bacon and cheese not included, pay extra. Frozen chips slightly raw. Won't be coming back

I had a cooked breakfast , it was served hot plenty of it and it was quality produce. Very pleased I will return. One word of caution it does get busy so you may have to wait , on a Saturday anyway.
