Odeon is always a very very good place to enjoy a movie. It has extremely excellent accompaniments for that perfect sense of joy of movie. And as usual the environment is very very clean and sanitation standards are of the highest order. Incidentally the snacks and food items are very very fresh and tasty too. Thanks again.
The seats are old and well overdue a revamp! The overhead lighting seems to be missing the filters in some screens, it’s like a bright white light on your head if you’re on the left hand side at the rear of most screens! Very annoying and off putting in dark films! However the staff are friendly and helpful and they have the latest films basically on my doorstep which saves me driving to Basildon or chelmsford.
It’s a quality cinema, the screens are big, and they have showings throughout the day. The food is quite overpriced, but that’s to be expected. Whenever I’ve been, the toilets have been spacious and clean, although they get a bit crowded after a busy film has ended. It’s good, and I’m never disappointed with a visit to the odeon unless it’s a bad film.
Movies were great cleaning couldn't fault the start time of the movie was 30 minutes late when we arrived but overall a good experience
Staff were helpful but there were not enough of them. Waited for ages for someone to come and serve at the ice cream counter. When they did the till was broken so had to go back and pay at the machines by the door - where there were also issues with the payment. The toilets were crowded and some would not flush. The Odeon have clearly cut staffing to the bone and it is evident in the experience of visiting.
Really poor, my bank card went out of date so I got an email so logged in and set up new card details, got a email the following day to say it had been successful. It’s been 2-days now and I haven’t been able to login, emailed the service team still nothing. So I Google a number to see if I could call only to be told everything is online, did forgot password only to not get an email so went in to my local odeon and they had no clue what to do even when I spoke to the manager. So I’m been charged for something I cannot use.
Saturday night and it seemed empty.... the drama and spectacle of seeing a movie in the streaming age has lost its majesty. This was a 4k movie but it didn't look clear or crisp on the screen, so this spoiled the experience of the movie I watched.
Was disappointed with person that served us as we asked for name if the film that a certain actor was in the cashier told us by then put through a completely different film!! And then the refund/replacement took nearly 10mins to sort! Other than that place was clean & walm
It's a pretty good cinema with a lot of screens and food for the occasion, also the website it's easy and fast to get a ticket, recommend
Great location and plenty of seats and screens available. Would have given 5 stars but had difficulty accessing the screen we needed to see the film as it was upstairs and the lift was out of order. My partner could not gain access so they finally agreed to give us a full refund. I had to go to Basildon to see the film in the end.
