Located inside the Great Northern mall, ideal location near Deansgate. Not very crowded, has all the latest films spread over a few theatres. Prices are very good and the staff are helpful and friendly. The food stalls are good but you cannot order beforehand for pickup like you can do at a few other Odeon cinemas but it's not too crowded so you can order at the counter and be in your seat before the movie begins.
This theatre is quite large, with a huge entryway and some large theatres, and picture quality and sound were good. It is a little worn in places paint, seats but a decent value.
The actual cinema itself is great been going here for over 15 years now, the only thing that let's it down is the ridiculous parking fees! Outrages, used to be able to stamp your car parking ticket at the cinema & it would cost you £2, now for some reason you can't do that & it cost £14-15 to park, Trafford Centre next time.
Absolutely shocking food prices i got one medium fanta which is less then a 1.5 litre bottle and two trays of nachos with cheese and it cost me £19.57 I'll never buy food or drink from here again. The seats are so worn and grubby it should have had a makeover by now its long overdue.
Very bad projection quality. Apart from the big screens Screen 1, 2,4 as far as I know, the rest small screens doesn't cater well to Asian movies. Even the ad's and trailers were so dull and also the movie don't occupy the entire screen. It has the black gaps on the top and bottom of the film like how we get in Amazon Prime, Netflix.. definitely they need to check the movie wrt sound, picture quality before screening it.
A combination of cleanliness, decent prices, a great variety of snacks and drinks with a great selection of films with comfy seats, makes this cinema a fabulous choice for viewings.
A bit old, seats are worn out uncomfortable but the staff are super friendly and the films are updated. If you live around the area and love movies, it's really worth it to get the odeon membership where you pay like £14 and you can come and watch movies anytime you want.
Mario movie was great. Not the best odeon, the seats were ok and the till’s machine went a bit funny that was a laugh. Atmosphere and building was weird and a little confusing. Staff were great and funny though
Absolutely horrendous. Hasn’t been updated ever, probably since the 90s and smells weird. There was a massive mark on the screen. The seats were covered in dirt and crumbs, looks like it doesn’t get cleaned. Eerie vibe in general. Would be terrified to come here alone. Highly regret ever coming here. Stick to Vue or Odeon Luxe. Was not worth the money at all.
Had a great time! Step free via a lift, staff helped me get where I needed to go. The wheelchair spaces have seats next to them for my friends etc and aren't right at the front, at least in the screen I was in!
