All our order arrived yesterday and it looks lovely. Premium delivery was worth every penny The delivery guys were great set everything up tidied up as they went we couldn't fault them. Service from going in the store to the guys leaving our house was first class .
Visited the showroom on Saturday morning and found the star fantastic, helpful and friendly. We found the quality of the 3 piece suites far better than other stores in the area. We phoned and placed the order on the Sunday and have a delivery date with 8 days!!!!
We have bought quite a lot off furniture at Oakland recently and we can honestly say that the products are worth every penny. The salesman who has dealt with us has been a great bloke and helped us massively,at no time did we feel that we had to buy anything. He is a credit to his firm and himself.
Nice store lovely furniture, staff promised del date then it got changed a few times customer services no help at all as I was told some items out of stock. Had a lot of chew now have to wait till feb. Not good enough
Well looked after in shop. Bought a lovely set of bedroom furniture, assured at shop it would not be a problem to get upstairs past the starlift, by their 'great' delivery team premium delivery. Delivery day arrived to have THE most miserable excuses for delivery men. They barely looked in the door and said they were not allowed to lift over a certain height. I'm 75 with a heart condition and and on dialysis and the nastiest little one with the bald head who should be sacked stood smirking as I tried to remove the chair of the lift, he said to my wife, "ill give him 15 minutes." In the end I could only get the chair off. They reluctantly carried in the bedside units and chests of drawers but left the wardrobes in the garden. After an intense argument they drove off like madmen. I was standing looking at the boxes when I saw 2 workmen down the street I asked them to help. No problem mate, they carried them upstairs yes, with a little effort but they managed two wardrobes in half an hour, and I gave them a tip. I received a refund on delivery charges and a slight refund on the bill. A reluctant apology from the manager when I complained. The stars are for the furniture, not the staff and certainly not the appalling delivery crew.
Found the table and chairs that we wanted, good, only to get so far through the ordering process to be told even though the fabric is a new design its not actually available. They then say they will take 6 seat pads from chirs in the shop and we can chang them ourselves, but we have to pay full price. We decided to choose a different design, go back to the computer to pay, he makes a mess of that, we are stuck waiting for customer service to sort it out, very very unsatisfied customers
Bought a two seater sofa and chair. Cushions did not fit properly and we’re flat after one week leaving us sitting on the framework of the sofa feeling the hard wood, not at all comfortable. Chair tipped up when getting out of it! Actual body of sofa was not attached to framework leaving gap on edge. Complained to customer services. After them getting an independent report we got a full refund including delivery charge and protection cover. We wouldn’t go to this store again to buy anything else now as very poor quality and although their after sales was very helpful it has left us without a sofa at this time, we were not compensated for this inconvenience. We waited 4 months to get this and we are most disappointed after looking forward to getting this for so long, we now have nothing to sit on as another sofa now on order with a different store that again will take a few months to arrive
Ordered a corner sofa back in February to be told delivery would be in June. Went into shop 1 weeks before delivery was due to be told delivery wouldn’t be until 9th August. Today again went to pay for sofa to be told it’s not going to be delivered until September. Very poor customer service no one has ever rang me to tell me delivery dates keep changing. Again I have taken time off work and hired a van to take my old sofa away and will have to change dates will never order from here again.
Paid full price for a Wiltshire dining room table and chairs plus a sideboard on 5th Sept with a delivery date of 4th Jan 2022. This date was revised to 24th Feb and then again to 27th April when I was told by the store my table was at the warehouse and they were waiting for the sideboard. Would not deliver parts of the order separately and when I enquired a couple of weeks later was told the table had been given to somebody else and my sideboard was now at the warehouse. I insisted it be delivered and it was but was then given a date of 23rd June for the table. This has now been revised to 8th July. The store is still advertising delivery of the table at 17 weeks but if and when I finally get my dining room table and chairs it will be 43 weeks -almost TEN MONTHS. Although partly my fault in getting rid of my old table and chairs before the new set arrived in January we have ate our meals at a camping table with computer chairs. DO NOT BELIEVE THE DELIVERY DATES GIVEN OR THE CUSTOMER SERVICE PROMISES. UPDATE Delivery now set back to 22nd August which will make it 49 weeks - just three weeks short of a year. THIS COMPANY IS NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE.
Decent shop with a good range and really friendly staff but very overpriced
