Always well stocked or you can order your items in-store.nThis B &Q is a large superstore, you can check for items online before you travel, so you won't be disappointed. A great DIY store. Large and airy with helpful staff. Always worth a visit for DIY, decorating etc it has an outdoor gardening area with plenty of healthy plants, shrubs and trees. There is wheelchair access, parking and public toilets too.
Had a great experience here when I visited for the first time for some paint and wallpaper.nnI was served by Anthony who is a credit to his organisation, he was extremely knowledgeable, polite and a pleasure to deal with. Pay rise for that man!.nnStore is very big, they have everything you could need for DIY, and its dog friendly too! They have a few bits an bobs for dogs!.nnParking was easy.nnI don't particularly like the self scan checkouts. Luckily I was served and helped by another lovely employee.nnSign up for the b&q card! It's worth it for a few money off vouchers!
Just wanted to comment on a great member of staff at Portrack lane store “Mike”nHe was so helpful this afternoon and knowledgeable regarding flooring for our bathroom. He explained in detail everything we needed and took us to each product! We have yet to do the job but feel with his input it will go smoothly! Thank you Mike!
Staff are always very helpful in showing you where to find things. Public toilets are clean and OK. Car park spaces can be a but tight for newer cars as they are wider, but otherwise great. If you are hungry there is a burger van right outside the entrance, a Greggs around the corner, a pork batch place not far either.
Went along with my wife,kicking and screaming, however what a great selection of plants. We were only there 15/20 minutes and we got all we needed and a little more. No doubt she will drag me there again, but I won't mind so much this time.
