Hidden vietnamese gem on right outside Holloway road station. Food was incredibly flavourful and came in very generous portions, the price is roughly £10-15 a main which is just fantastic. Overall great food, decent service and lovely atmosphere.
Lovely spot for delicious Vietnamese food. My Beef Pho was perfectly flavoured, the service was quick and friendly and the prices very reasonable. Would recommend!Food: 5/5
Tasty food in a cosy restaurant. I loved the prawn Pho, with beef broth. There was no option for Pho Ĝa. The area where the restaurant is located is accessible by Piccadilly line.Food: 5/5
Very enjoyable viet restaurant opposite Holloway Rd station, probably the only one I saw broken rice in the menu. And it was delicious! I wished I had more nuoc nam sauce with my broken rice and that the pork was slightly less dry but the flavours were delicious still! My partner had a soup of beef pho which tasted fresh and full of flavours although the bowl was a bit small which was hard to manoeuvre and not enough soup compared to the amount of noodles but he said the flavours were still enjoyable! There was a slight misunderstanding with the tea pot order as the menu says max two cups, so we ordered a jasmin tea thinking we’d get two cups with the pot when she asked if it was for 2 people, and then we ended up getting served two pots of tea which was definitely too much for just two people. Maybe it’d be best to clarify on the menu or in person.
After watching the match, my friends and I had some hot Vietnamese rice noodles here. We all felt very satisfied, and the taste was excellent! The service staff were also very patient. When I asked for vinegar, she brought me fresh lemon instead. Thank you very much!Food: 5/5
I was here for dinner on a Monday night with a friend A total hidden treasure The decor is minimal and you could miss the entrance however this Vietnamese restaurant is excellent The food was absolutely delicious and very good value for money We had the prawn summer rolls, beef & papaya salad and chilli broth I had prawn, my friend had beef All of the food was so good We also had a bottle of house red which was excellent and only £20
Above average Vietnamese restaurants, especially with the lunch offer, really worth the price. Generous portion as well. The pho soup was great, a lot as meat as the picture, the roll has quite big shrimp as well. Overall a very satisfying lunch. Hope they keep the price and quality up there. Will update it if I come backFood: 5/5
Great selection of Vietnamese dishes. We had the mango salad which was very good. The fried noodles and rice with ribs were great too. Very reasonably priced!
The best grilled pork I found in London! While the V style coffee is too sugary for meFood: 5/5
A small but well-run Vietnamese cafe delivers on its promise of good, curt service and delicious, hearty food. It's easy to miss this cafe, if not for the locals recommending and guiding you to it. The staff who run it, Vietnamese themselves, radiate warmth and welcome, an appetizer for things to come. I opened the meal with Spring rolls, as any Vietnamese meal should be started. Each roll was crunchy, spilling forth it's meaty contents into your mouth, well complemented either by hoisin sauce or Sriracha chili. Beef pho followed, that delicious treat of savoury beef broth, steaming silky noodles, interrupted by crunchy vegetables and tender pieces of beef.... The bowl was half finished when I remembered to snap a photo! Finally, we had honey grilled chicken, another must-have in any Vietnamese restaurant. The sweetened meat was well barbequed without losing its tender texture, the smoky taste going very well with honey. Must be eaten with a heaping bowl of steamed rice! An addition to the meal that you must have would be their coffee, served either hot or cold, black or white. Overall, a very good experience at an affordable price. 5 well deserved stars!
