Viet Garden is a family run restaurant priding itself in fresh tasting authentic Vietnamese cuisine.

We owe a lot to our mothers for inspiring us with their love and with their cooking, endearing us the culture that they passed on. A great part of the inspiration behind our restaurant and the food we serve comes from those traditional roots. We pride ourselves on that fresh, healthy, delicious, traditional cooking from Mekong River Delta, Huế, Sài Gòn & Hà Nội and hope to share the love we have for our roots with you.

Came here after reading the great reviews and were disappointed. Service was really slow. Took over 45 mins for our dishes to arrive when the restaurant was not busy. The steamed sea bass being one of the most pricey items on the menu didn’t meet expectations. Steamed mixed veggies costed over £7, turned out to be half a plate of chopped onions and some vegetables that weren’t fresh.
Really the best pho I have ever had in London. The broth was so amazing, unbelievably delicious. The beef was tender, perfectly cooked. I would strongly recommend the classic beef pho. The broth has a kind of unique umami that can only be found in Vietnamese cooking. Fantastic!Food: 5/5
Authentic and I approve! Owner was friendly and food made with fresh ingredients! Meat cooked to perfection with tender succulency and salads made with love. This is a hidden gem away from the well-known mecca for vietnamese cuisine in east London.Food: 5/5

Great Vietnamese food from a family run business. It's very good value too. I'll strongly recommend the char-grilled pork with vermicelli. The space was quiet, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the dinner a lot.
In my opinion, Viet Garden offers the best Vietnamese food in North London. The food consists of fresh ingredients and full of great flavour especially the pho!. There are lots of good choices on the menu - both for meat eaters and vegetarians. Martin and his team are exceptionally friendly and offer very good service. Everyone should go for a very delicious and reasonably priced meal!
Absolutely delicious. I had bun bo hue and the broth was rich and tasty, the beef was tender and yummy, veggies were fresh, terrific! One of the best meal I had outside of Vietnam. Staff was also very nice, looks like a family ran business and the place is quite nice, very cosy and relaxing. Very decent price as well £14 for a main and a beer - including service charge and the portion was big! But it was so moreish I had no problem finishing it all
A lovely independent restaurant where the friendly owner always gives you a warm welcome. I recommend the beef Bun Hue. The pho is delicious and really well seasoned and spiced. Portions are generous and reasonably priced.Food: 5/5
The bun thit nuong bun noodle salad with grilled pork was tasty, but I'm used to having this dish in a bowl as it was slightly hard to mix the fish sauce onto the noodles and salad on a flat plate. The fish sauce wasn't enough for the dish, but you can always ask for more.
