Story

Au Lac authentic Vietnamese Restaurant has been located in Highbury Islington since 1998.
We are a friendly family-run restaurant which serves flavoursome home-style dishes at very reasonable prices, which became popular very quickly, as we were well reviewed by Time Out, a radio food programme and local newspapers.
We also do free delivery service for those within 2 miles and our restaurant can cater for group/party bookings.
Our menu is a fresh variety of traditional and modern Vietnamese cooking, Southern and Northern dishes, all carefully prepared by our fully-trained kitchen staff.
Our Pho (Vietnamese noodle soup) is an amazingly tasty and nutritious noodle soup, as well as other wonderful Vietnamese foods.
Our vegetarian dishes are made from very pure, home made bean curd, deliciously healthy and 100% soy bean.
We are very happy to cook our dishes your own way if you make a special request.
Au lac is a lifestyle to us, and it is very important to cook with the best products to make sure the food maintains a high quality at all times.
We do our own daily shopping by hand picking from our suppliers to chose our best meats and fresh vegetables.
