What a fabulous venue. The staff are so kind and helpful and are a credit to the company. Got to be the best level of customer care, that I've experienced in a long time. The venue itself is very easy to navigate and the stage and auditorium are a decent size. The balcony provides an excellent view of the stage and performers. For those who have to travel by car, there is an NCP car park that's almost directly behind it. I can HIGHLY RECOMMEND this wonderful venue
Intimate venue and some surprisingly top flight bands. Went for The Struts on the hottest day in UK history and was bearable, just. Sound staging good, driving so on water so can't comment on bar prices but nobody seemed to think they were out of order for city centre. Will have no issues with this venue if band of choice is playing. Staff seemed polite, professional and on the ball.
Great venue. Much better than the O2 in Leeds. The venue is wide rather long stretching a long way back. This means that even when you are near the back you feel part of what is going on & close enough to the front. Drinks are enormously expensive, as usual for these type of venues.
Smaller venue and great atmosphere. Air con could be better it was sweltering. Well organized, sound and lights amazing. Saw Tremonti, supported by The Raven Age. Superb gig. Definitely a great venue for gigs.
Great live music venue! We went to see Public Image Ltd. What a band!!! They are superb live!!! Their support band was Brix and the Extricated, another great band! Absolutely enjoyed it Great sound, light, all was set up on time, atmosphere was fantastic! We bought tickets online, so went straight in with QR codes scanned at the entrance. Security check was good, so felt safe once inside. The place was clean, so yeah definitely will be coming again to enjoy live music
We attended a gig last night at the Ritz and we were very impressed. My daughter in law needed wheelchair access and they were very accommodating. From arrival to leaving the team were very helpful. The view we had was amazing, John and Keith were very attentive throughout ensuring we had everything we needed. Another member of staff handed out cups of water for us and for the other attendees stood at the front. Extremely impressed with the venue and organisation for those with accessibility concerns.
Went to see Porter Robinson's Nurture Live EU Tour and it was one of the best nights of my life. Amazing atmosphere, amazing layout and in the perfect position to grab a bite to eat beforehand. The queueing system is superb too as an employee comes around and writes a number on your hand so you can step out of the queue and come back in the same spot, saving you from having to stress about needing the toilet! They frequently handed out cups of water, which was much needed due to the energy of the music. All around brilliant experience!
Fantastic gig by the evergreen New Model Army again at the Ritz, probably my favourite venue in Manchester. Wonderful old dance hall of perfect size in my opinion but like all these O2 run venues these days the bar prices are extortionate.
Did a two show weekend here and was really impressed. Very clean venue no sticky floors! and great acoustics. We managed to get onto the balcony and found the bar area was higher again with comfy seating and an amazing view that we could kneel to see. The balcony was closed the second day and we were gutted! Chairs are available for those in need and can't beat the proximity to Oxford Road station. Wouldn't think twice about going here again for a wee gig
Went with my partner to watch Larkin Poe. An excellent act. The venue is nice. I like the layout with plenty of bars. The sound quality was very good too. Well done sound engineers. The prices really let it down though! £7.75 for a single rum and coke. Turned into an expensive night. It's a shame because this place could be 5 star if you didn't feel like you were having you pants pulled down on every visit to the bar! There is just no need for it!
