Not a good experience: my wife waited all day in a room that was an absolute oven due to a heat wave, without being allowed to eat or drink, or even be told when she would be seen to! This eventually occurred at 7 in the evening after which they then suggested she would need to stay in over night even though she was a day-case! Then after having had an initial discussion about anaesthetics, when it came to administering it, this was not taken into account even though she suffers from low blood pressure - we have since been told this should have been a spinal because of that reason! The only good point was the excellent nurses. Very friendly and helpful. Overall, a bad experience which could have largely been improved simply through some management.

This hospital and all it's staff here are simply outstanding . They care and this shows by making you feel like your the only patient without being too intrusive. I had a laparoscopy and appendicectomy with Mr T.Moore who I can't praise highly enough . From Reception , catering staff , nurses and consultants, every member of staff I had contact with during my stay were first class . I was so nervous as never had an operation before but I needn't have worried . Theatre staff and my wonderful anaesthetist Dr S.Deacock were so kind and looked after me every step of the way. Even the night nurses ( Sharon ) could not do enough for me even at 1am was offered tea and biscuits and nothing was too much trouble . My swift recovery I'm sure is due to such a high standard of care and skilled professionals who looked after me so well . I will even go as far to say that my operation and stay has been a pleasant experience and I don't want to leave ! If in the future I need another operation or consultation this will always be my first choice . Thank you to each and everyone of you. Emma

I had a significant Spine operation at a nearby private hospital but ended up with a massive infection, I refused to go back there and instead was admitted into the Wessex Nuffield, if it hadn't been for the care I received from my GP, Surgeon and the entire staff at the Wessex Nuffield I dread to think what may have happened to me. From the Housekeepers, Kitchen staff and Admin teams to the Nursing and RMO Doctors on the ward the level of care was outstanding, always caring, professional and truly amazing. Thank you all.

After suffering for months with various infections I had three kidney stones removed by Mr Bhasker Somani. I was looked after by Mr Somani and the wonderful team at the Nuffield Health Wessex Hospital, I could not of received better treatment anywhere else. Nothing was too much trouble and I now feel so much better. Thank you all.

Just had a partial knee replacement with Mr Jack. This hospital is spotlessly clean, the care from the entire team is superb and everyone is super friendly. 5 stars is simply not enough!
