My transformation has been truly amazing. I have received excellent care from Sue and her team at regular intervals following 20 years of autoimmune disease and 3 major abdominal surgeries. My muscle tone and mobility were severely affected to the point of causing more life limiting issues. I credit Sue with restoring my full agility and fitness. I run, cycle, enjoy exercise classes, garden and decorate now. Whenever health problems catch up with me, Sue gives me a booster therapy to build my strength right back up. The team's approach is exceptional and has changed my daily life where others could not. Obviously I recommend the team wholeheartedly.
Highly recommended, took a few sessions to unfreeze a very painful shoulder joint which couldn't be raised above 90 degrees despite a gloomy hospital radiologist saying I would be stuck with it.
I was recommended Sue Mills by two friends. I had spent four years trying to restore movement in my hip after I broke it. I have tried different physiotherapists both NHS and Private, hydrotherapy and even a mechanical horse and nothing had made a lasting difference. After one session with Sue I had a full range of movement back, I was more stable and I didn't limp! It was amazing and yes miraculous. I was in tears and so was Sue. Sue uses muscular activation points to switch on muscles that have become lazy or have stopped working. It really does work with only miminal excercise involved between visits. Sue has changed my life both physically and emotionally and I cannot recommend her her highly enough. Gill Brown
I cannot recommend Sue and the team at Romsey Physiotherapy Clinic highly enough. Sue and Steve have led me through a variety of joint replacements and most recently a rotator cuff repair, with amazing results. I now am able to function without pain and Sue is always at hand to advise with any little “blip”! The whole team are very welcoming and treatment is always with a smile. You are all brilliant, thank you.
TOTALLY BRILLIANT! I have suffered from chronic hip pain for several years and seen a number of physiotherapists and a Consultant Hip Specialist at Bournemouth, but to no avail. I finally found Sue Mills who, it has to be said, has rejuvenated me. Her Neuromuscular Activation therapy has made me 95% better within a few weeks. She has such a great understanding of how different parts of the body interact with each other, and she explains what she is doing as she goes along. The results are pretty much instantaneous and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Her Activation worked for me when nothing else did.
With respect to the gentleman who posted an unfavourable review about muscle activation techniques at this extremely good practice, I have to disagree very strongly. I have received exemplary help for over 10 years of running cycling and walking and am particularly grateful for being shown muscle activation techniques by Steve. I understand from Steve that this is a relatively new technique and I am already benefiting from it by walking and cycling more efficiently and comfortably which is protecting an arthritic hip and other problems. I am so grateful that by working at the activation techniques over a few months I will be putting back the need for a replacement hip. Thank you to Sue Emily and Steve at this practice for all they have done for me over the years.
Sue was absolutely wonderful during my second pregnancy and kept me off crutches - I just wish I'd known about her the first time around. Steve is equally as brilliant and sorted my shoulder in just a few appointments. Couldn't recommend highly enough
I can’t rave about sue enough. I’m a yoga teacher with 20+ years experience and have been completely amazed with the difference her activation methods have made to all of my lazier muscles - I feel so energised and alert after her treatments I seem to float into my sequences with a deep sense of grounding. The good news is I can keep recreating this stability with the homework she assigns - so long as I do it!
Very friendly and professional receptionist and physiotherapist, housed in a very nice building with spacious and well equipped treatment rooms. However, my entire consultation revolved around an alternative non evidence based therapy involving 'muscle activation'. The use of pressure points on my neck today are supposed to 'activate' my gluteal muscles and help a recurring running injury during a run tomorrow! I was sent home with a list of places on my body to poke before a run. No option given for normal medical physiotherapy involving stretches, massage etc.
Emily was brilliant and took plenty of time to understand my problem. She didn't recommend expensive treatments but gave me exercises to manage the problem myself.
