I have been a customer at Nottingham MOT Centre for a few years now, and I am very satisfied with their vehicle repair service, and pricing. I travel about 25 miles into Nottingham without hesitation, and have done so twice recently. 1. I had been quoted locally for a complete suspension arm for my Citroen C3. I had just had the front tyres replaced, and it was found that a ball joint had excessive play in it, causing uneven wear to one of the tyres. The tyre centres policy was to only replace complete arms. Nottingham MOT Centre competently assessed the issue, identified the problem, only needing to replace the ball joint itself; all other components were deemed fine. Around £80 saved, and I take it on good authority - a quality ball joint too. Result!! Nottingham Wheel Alignment Centre Limited - next door took care of the Tracking, making this a great service combination, with no fuss. see separate review. 2. New cam belt, including water pump replacement on my Citroen C3, plus installation of gear cables, as I was having difficulty selecting the reverse gear ughhh! Good price, and quick turnaround. Once again I made use of one of their fleet of courtesy cars, which for me is extremely convenient as I live outside of Nottingham. I now have a car that goes in reverse without making terrible noises, and a car that hopefully will have many more miles left in it, without the worry of a dreaded cam belt failure. Thank you!! Many thanks to Dan and his team for delivering a professional service and a great customer experience from start to finish at Nottingham MOT Centre! I'll be back soon with another vehicle to repair - My van this time - welding etc, plus an MOT. 1st visit to this place.My Suzuki Jimny needed an MOT & some TLC. Very friendly, knowledgeable,fair, and all at reasonable prices. No hidden surprises in cost of the work carried out.Brilliant and will definitely use them again in the future..
It would be nice to be able to report that what these goons lack in manners they make up for in expertise, but that would of course be an utter lie. They're rude, they're arrogant, they're overpriced, they're dismissive, and their – ahem – "advice" changes arbitrarily from moment to moment, irrespective of the cocksure manner in which it is delivered. But don't criticize these clowns, whatever you do – they'll merely retort that you're another "keyboard warrior", as they did with someone else's review. Nice service there, boys. No-one is trying to "ruin your business". You're doing that yourselves.

My recent visit to Nottingham Wheel Alignment Centre Limited, in conjunction with Nottingham MOT Centre, was regrettably far from satisfactory. I approached Nottingham Wheel Alignment Centre Limited for a routine wheel alignment, only to encounter a snapped bolt during the process. What compounded my disappointment was the subsequent finger-pointing by Nottingham Wheel Alignment Centre Limited, blaming my vehicle's condition rather than acknowledging their own responsibility. This lack of accountability was disconcerting. To make matters worse, Nottingham MOT Centre, being in collaboration, charged me for re-tracking, despite the issues arising from Nottingham Wheel Alignment Centre Limited's poor practices. The seamless coordination between Nottingham Wheel Alignment Centre Limited and Nottingham MOT Centre in passing the blame and charging extra felt like a clear disregard for fair customer treatment. This experience has left me with a sense of frustration and a desire for these establishments to reevaluate their practices for the sake of future customers.
First time customer as my usual garage doesnt offer a class 7 MOT, called in to book a test, the staff were very approachable, booked the test for the following week, it failed, the tester explained the issues and also showed what they were, so it was back the following day for a retest. They really do strike you as the sort of people you want to do business with, straightforward, honest, polite, and most of all trustworthy. I will be recommending them as well as using them in the future

Lovely clean garage friendly family business. First class service at realistic prices. Popped in for a while you wait MOT at 14.15pm today was advised my Astra had failed on front break pads & discs badly worn. I asked for a price to do the work I accepted & within 2 hours the job was completed & a new MOT certificate given. They even gave me a courtesy car brilliant service from a small garage. I can't recommend them highly enough & will definitely be using them from now on. Top class old fashioned service at a price that won't break the bank. Give them a try you won't be disappointed.
Highly recommend this garage - I've been using this company with my Transit for MOTs for a few years now, absolutely fantastic service, honest attentive garage where nothing is too much trouble to help you out. Thanks again team, see you again next year!
