Had a headlight changed, a service and two tyres changed. Dropped the car off 06.45 which was great as I was still on time for work.The gentleman that dealt with me was professional polite and easy to deal with. The work was completed quickly and I received a fully comprehensive information pack as to what work had been carried out. A much better experience than at main dealerships. Would happily recommend and deal with MB- Nottingham again. Thanks
My SL has just received its annual service and I’m delighted as ever. All work was completed as described and it was delivered back washed and valeted. Any extras beyond the B1/B2 plan are communicated and fully costed. It’s the third time the car has been serviced by MB-Nottingham and they maintain a very high standard. Special thanks to Martin for his very professional help and advice. I’ll certainly be back again next year. 5 stars!
Went to MB Nottingham for a major service, £1200 later get home to find oil leaking out my rear transfer box and they had left the drain plug loose! 2 hour round trip to get them to tighten it and claimed they checked levels but were finehow can that be after it’s leaked oil all over the floor Year later went back for a minor service after thinking everyone makes mistakes give them a second chance! Used the collection and delivery service, upon delivering back to my home address the driver bottoms my car out on a curb trying to get on the driveway all on cctv brakes and stops when he hears the massive crunch then carry’s on to park the car on the drive…rang and emailed the video to Martin and he clearly couldn’t be anymore less interested, 4 days have passed no phone call no explanation. You would have thought being a repeat customer and having spent best part of £2000 in a year with this garage there service would be better I would avoid this garage like the plague now!!
WOW, after paying £125 far a diagnostic then £1000 for a screen that I do not need, I am back to square 1. I paid for the diagnostic report that kick up a code for a fault on my screen Merc badge image comes up crystal clear then white stripes appear on the screen and got quoted £1000 to replace the screen. I did a little research and asked a specialist 3rd party about it and was told it was the head unit that was at fault and not the screen. I emailed  Martin reference this but got no reply he knows best being a professional. He ordered and fitted the screen and surprise surprise another fault came up with the head unit that wasn’t faulty to start with according to their 5 star diagnostic report. Then the phone call came , it would be about another £1000 + vat to replace the head unit . He refused to send the screen back even though I didn’t need it as the original one wasn’t faulty.  There was no mention of a refund for the money I spent for the report that was wrong. All in all they have had a lot of my hard earned money for absolutely nothing.I am not even sure if the screen is a new one or my old one just polished up I sent my head unit to a specialist , all fixed for £500 . DO NOT waste your money on a diagnostic , better off googling the fault. Do Not take your car here ,get a professional to look at it ! Their motto is  we don’t cut corners only costs. So why pay dealership prices But after you have paid for a bogus report and an imaginary fault and then the real fault it would have been cheaper at the dealership Invoice number 38970 Also look out for the extras on top of the quoted price such as PPE I would give them zero stars if it was an option! . In response to your reply. the smell of petrol has returned so that wasn't fixed correctly ,but as I said I have no more money for you to extort out of me
Great service. I have been using MB Nottingham for few years now, and despite moving away from Nottingham few years ago, they are my first choice for service my car. Yes, their prices are definitely more competitive than Mercedes dealers and on top of that, the team is always very responsive and knowledgeable.
DONT COME HERE. I assume they will delete this review, I was going to bring my car at 16.00pm on Friday 13th after work but I rang MARTIN and he said bring the car down on Saturday in the morning so I brought my car for a diagnostic on Saturday 14th October around at 9:45am left him to it and Martin said I’ll ring you in the afternoon knowingly he close at 1pm. Martin told me he’ll ring at 12:30pm but instead rang me when near enough closing time approx at 12:40pm I was already home and Martin gave me the option to come and collect the car or leave it with him until Monday so I wanted to collect my car as I needed it for another option from a different garage. Martin rang me and explained that he is closing how long you’ll take I said I had to catch a bus and would take an hour Martin was rude and did not wait for me and said I’m closing now you need to wait until Monday. I still went down as I was already on the bus and wasted £5.20 for a day ticket wasted my time and Martin had my car for 2 days in his possession without my permission. I was stressed and felt rushed, I lost a days pay for having Monday off work to collect my car, Martin had no thought of sympathy whatsoever for his customer. I refuse to pay him as he has caused me stressed. Then, Martin tried to get his colleagues to block my car in with two cars as me and my dad stood at front of them stopping them doing this as this is an inappropriate behaviour. Martin tried to stop me and nudged my arm from standing at front of the vehicles with martins colleagues still wanting to block my car in. I walked in the office to get my invoice from Martin and I seen through the windows that 3 men around my dad trying to terrorise him and one of the mechanic pushed my dad and my dad tripped and leant on my car, I phoned the police cos this is bodily harm and is completely disgusting how me as a customer been treated and my dad getting hurt. I will not under no circumstances come to place ever again and should be looked into as the manager MARTIN is completely rude and arrogant all that Martin cares about is to charge people arm and a leg for something that is a simple fix as I had an slight oil leak and didn’t diagnose the car properly. The oil leak is common on my car which is the seal gasket on the oil cooler and seal on the turbo charger as I have taken to another garage and they have confirmed this. They charge more than the Mercedes dealership themselves not worth it at all I will say stay well aware of this place and be cautious as their attitude is not how to treat customers.
The second vehicle I have had under the care of MB Notts the first around 10 years ago, my current C-Class has been in a couple of times recently - this last time for really extensive repairs as a result of flood damage. Great job, and my thanks to Martin, Steve and the team. In my estimation, the whole operation is super-professional, and expertly run. The work done on my car has always been top-notch. I would certainly recommend. Prices are comparatively good, but on the flipside Mercs are comparatively expensive cars to run and repair.
Wouldn't recommend this garage!! I had to have two diagnostic in the space off a 1 month to just to find out the problem on my vehicle, there's no communication at all and when you do go collect your vehicle they give you the wrong car key!!

After expending my DIY and cheap code reader abilities I brought my van in for a fault diagnosis. I was told that my van had the wrong ECU and testing couldn't proceed. They were very nice but gave me no useful info but were all too happy to charge. I took it to an independant place in Leicester and they had it sorted in 5 minutes maf sensor needed resetting even with the original maf sensor being ok.
