Notcutts is a lovely place to visit, especially at Christmas  they have some lovely trees, decorations, and also a nice little cafe. We couldn't get a seat in the cafe this time as it was so busy, but normally stop for a coffee and cake  it's almost become a tradition now that us ladies in the family, have a little look around at Christmas time together. They also have some lovely food gifts here too. Can be a bit expensive, but you do find some different gifts.

Nice walk around, lots on display for Christmas. Some nice gifty things.  The cafe was nicely laid out and good to see that they had a small selection of dairy free treats. The chap who served us was lovely and most apologetic that the cafe was closing early. For a dairy free person the menu would have been limited but for others a good basic selection with baked potatoes, soup, sandwiches etc. Parking was easy.

Lovely shop to walk around. Has a pet section selling toys and food. An outdoor section with garden furniture and a large selection of outdoor plants. Inside there are lots of indoor plants   . Has a good toy section with a good  range of Jellycat toys and lots of jigsaws. Has a few clothing areas with good quality clothing. A small jewellery selection. Has a cafe  with a good range of food and drinks. Overall a lovely way to spend a couple of hours, has something for everyone.

We had a lovely meal, and the service is amazing .  Alastair the restaurant manager is exceptional, he always makes us feel special and goes out of his way to provide a 5* service. His sunny disposition made our day.

I haven’t eaten in The Kitchen at Notcutts for years but today, whilst waiting for my car to have some work done, I decided to kill some time here and I’m so glad I did! Very clean everywhere I looked, happy smiling staff, all of them! My vegetarian breakfast was delicious, especially the eggs which were full of flavour. Thank you The Kitchen, I came in feeling frazzled but left feeling energised :

Met friends for coffee and cake on Tuesday last. The cafe was very cold and we were sat next to heaters. Most people kept their outdoor coats on. Is the low temperature to move people on quickly I wonder. Maybe time to move on to somewhere else for our monthly meets

We had a delicious, three course Christmas lunch at Notcutts yesterday. Excellent choices, delicious food and reasonably priced for a Christmas menu. The table was beautifully set with a pristine white table cloth, clean cutlery, a cracker and serviettes. Staff and service were excellent. A special shout out to Marie who is always so friendly and bubbly. If there was one slight criticism, the sprouts were slightly underdone. I don't like mine soggy but done of these were hard in the middle. Highly recommend.  Howevewould highly recommend

Went to get some vouchers for Christmas presents very helpful staff and prompt service. We also chatted with a couple of staff members about some issues we are having with house plants. They were very helpful and gave us advice on how to correct the problem. Cafe area was quite busy as it was mid-morning when we went. Plenty of parking and easy access to the store.

Just went in earlier today near to their  closing time and bought some plant and other stuff. After paying for everything over £100 and went home and realised one plant was left behind by the counter but their staff who served me didnt even bother to call me back to take it. Unbelivable.

Very impressed  with the service  I had from the House Plant department  today. Can recommend  Notcutts as a first rate garden centre.
