A fantastic place on the edge of the Northern Quarter, provided you can endure hipsters of all varieties. If rolled up trousers and beanie hats aren't your scene, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. The food here is great, in particular the breakfast muffin which is reasonably priced for a coffee shop in town. Everything is prepared in front of you, and it's all super clean. There's a nice selection of cakes available too. The coffee's are a coffee-nerd's dream. They've loads on offer, and a long list of fancy teas that would shock even a veteran drinker. There's free WiFi, with good connection, and plug sockets all around, which makes it brilliant for studying (or avoiding university altogether...). The staff are ace and THEY ALLOW DOGS. Need I go on?

One of the top coffee shop on the block. Whether you're a tea or coffee person North tea power has a wide variety of both. The brunch menu has a nice selection of small meals to go with your drink. The dessert selection varied on every visit making me look forward for my next one. On my favourite things about the location is the outdoor seating which sets the environment.

Favorite spot in Manchester. Love the variety of coffee and tea, great pastries, awesome staff. The interior is intimate and cozy. I can stay here for hours and hours.

I've been here a couple of times now and each time has been a pleasant experience. The first time I just had a hot chocolate (I'm not a coffee drinker) and it was exceptional, much better than anything you'd get at Starbucks or the like. I've also had the grilled cheese from there which was very tasty. As well as 3 or 4 different types of cheese, it also had small slices of leek, red onion, chilli and garlic in there (which weren't ingredients listed on the menu, but a welcome surprise). Sandwiches and soups are somewhere between £5 and £8, so perhaps a little more than you'd usually spend on grabbing a quick bite somewhere, but it's a nice place to sit and take a bit of quiet time.
