At the moment you enter this place team give you a pleasant feeling. Very congenial waiters, it is a kind place to pass time with friends or with your date. delightful cuisine, experienced chef, decent cost and excellent service. Highly recommended.
Lovely establishment very covid safe. The food we ordered was lovely. Obviously a very popular place queues to come in. At times the table service was a little slow but the staff were rushed off their feet.
One of my favourite pubs for a nice ale and decent pub food - amazing pies. The prices are great for the quality too. Bar staff always friendly making it a welcoming place. It does get a bit lively on a Saturday evening!
Really enjoyed it. Warm welcome. Good curry and great value. My little dog was made welcome too and had a lot of fuss!
A nice selection of ales on tap and a fairly spacious venue with plentiful seats. Good central location. Inside boasts a massive TV screen and has friendly, accommodating staff. They serve some nice pub grub and even have an ice-cream counter. One of the better pubs in Glossop.
Nice selection of beer. Food menu limited and stop serving at 8! Steak and ale pie a real treat and Wexford chicken tasty too, I'm told.
went today for a drink 3 of us waited 10 minutes at door waiting to be seated got seated took half an an hour to come and take our order very under staffed would not bother again waste of time sooner drink at at home. 04/10/2020 take my advice drink at home its cheaper anyway and you dont need to wear a silly mask
Made to feel we should just leave as quickly as possible. The waitress hovered around our table to take our plates which were removed before the last mouthful was swallowed, then, to our utter disbelief she started hoovering whilst other diners were still eating. Not the way to make customers feel welcome and valued!
