Story

Nippon Kitchen combines Modern Japan with Old Glasgow, in a Grade A listed building in Glasgow's City Centre, providing a cool and contemporary eating space that is both beautiful and relaxed.
Using locally sourced and specially selected Japanese ingredients, we serve up an array of authentic Japanese dishes including crisp tempura, mouth-watering rice and noodle dishes and fresh sushi, handmade to order.
Sister restaurant to the award winning Nanakusa, we offer a true taste of Japan in the heart of Glasgow.

Absolutely love their food!! Halal chicken and beef and one of the few that cook halal Chinese the right way. Some things are a little dear, but definitely a food comfort!
Absolutely amazing, super friendly staff that asked us if we had any allergies, we watched them clean everything before we sat down. Food was perfect, definitely recommend the Chicken Bento Box as it comes with abit of everything and the cocktails are delicious too!! Can't wait to come back again and try something different!
By far the best restaurant in town. Everything is tasty, fresh, and not very expensive for the quality! I love it. We always want to try new restaurant but always end up going to Nippon Kitchen. Don't hesitate to go

Absolutely fantastic. I actually cannot describe in words how good this place is, only through the medium of dance. This is by far the best restaurant in Glasgow and that's saying something because Glasgow has The Crystal Palace. Cannot wait to go again, HWG!! Xxx

I love this place, the food and the staff are always top notch. Having been in for lunch today they are really well setup for the current climate, tables well spaced and you can see how well they are cleaning, keeping details etc. Definitely worth crossing the road from yo sushi! if you're in the mood for Japanese cuisine
This is one of my favourite restaurants! The food packs great flavour and there’s such a good range of choices for food and drinks! I love the lychee martini with the ramen noodle soup and sushi platter!
Arrived at Nippon Kitchen and was met with friendly staff who were happy to help my friends and I choose from a wide choice on their menu. Manageress Maria and her staff looked after us with lovely food & professional service. Would highly recommend
