This was a nice place with friendly staff. I was pretty cold since I was right in front of the airco. Luckily they could turn it off for a while. The sushi was nice and the train bringing your food and drinks is a fun factor. I did find it quite expensive in comparison.
Great location! Every time I pass by this place it is normally busy. Love that it was contactless and just need to order via mobile! Service was great and waitstaff were pleasant and attentive. I also found the rotating belt serving our food interesting and the highlight of my visit! :P As for the food - it wasn't what I expected? The miso soup was a bit bland. I also felt like there was too much sauce on my food I usually have my sushi plain! and don't think authentic Japanese was meant to be like that. Nonetheless a lot of people seemed to enjoy it! A fun experience indeed but maybe I'll try and order something else next time!
Good options, I felt well catered for as a vegan and my partner felt safe as a nut-allergy sufferer, we shared a few dishes that were great for both of us. The small plates are maybe a little too small for the prices, I felt a little ripped off by the pumpkin katsu that probably only cost about 50p to make but it did taste good. The sriracha fries were particularly good, we almost ordered a second portion. Overall nice food but not cheap, not sure we'd go very often! Dietary restrictions: Offered my partner a tablet to easily view the allergen menu, really useful compared to just looking on our phones.
Always a easy pick spot to eat quick sushi rolls. This time tried prawns and crunchy California roll. Recommend both, couldn’t click a picture of cali roll as it looked so tasty and couldn’t resist to wait.Recommended dishesCalifornia Roll, Sushi, Rolls, Beef Teriyaki
I had better sushi from Costco! Spent £19 for a takeaway sushi for myself today as a treat and it was disgusting. It's a lot of money for such bad quality food. The miso soup photo didn't taste of anything, some warm water would have been tastier. The sushi rolls with salmon and fried shrimp didn't taste very fresh, and the rice was very hard. Seriously, Costco sushi is better and costs half of that
Had lunch on busy Saturday, I would recommend to book. We had chicken Katsu curry, chicken ramen and Korean donburi. The portions are quite small compared in price to other Japanese restaurants in the area. Don't recommend the regular fries they run out if mighty duck fries Very small portion and tasteless staff are super friendly but not good value for money I'd say.
Warning: Worst and most expensive sushi of my life, cashgrabbing restaurant, see photos attached. I am amazed how they were able to get a four star rating, the sushi was incredibly expensive 5 pounds for 2 pieces of sushi with seaweed salad where half of the filling was rice to cut costs or the almost 20 pound sashimi collection where the pieces were almost half the size of the picture, nigiri was incredibly thinly sized to cut costs? Really a waste of an evening and the money gone to the owner. For shame!
I always think the food here is 5 stars! However I wouldn’t ever do a collection from here again. Ordered an hour ahead for 1pm, waited a further 20 minutes for my order and there was people waiting there longer than I. The girls on the front were lovely but one seemed quite new and was left to deal with a busy lunch time without much help from her colleagues. Her colleagues were in no rush whilst she ran about frantically!!! Poor girl was so stressed bless her.
Very efficient service, the staff were also incredibly nice. Food was brilliant too, amd arrived very quickly!
Another fantastic experience at Yo- Sushi today. Aria Team Leader was most pleasant and helpful. Was unsure of a few dishes but went with her recommendation and wasn’t disappointed. Thanks Aria. Be back again soon.
