My partner and I went to view a car at NG2 Cars meaning a 30 mile round trip. Got there and the owner was busy with another customer so he sent his wife out to show us the car; she started the engine and went back inside. We had a look and were happy, asked for a test drive. The owner then got into the car and said that the engine fault light was on and that he would need to get it looked at. We left a number for him to reach us on when the car was checked out as we were still interested. Waited 2 days, no response. I rang him and was told that he had been driving the car himself and had someone coming to buy the car later on that evening. I was obviously unhappy about this due to leaving a number only for him then to suggest that I HAD SABOTAGED THE CAR. He suggested that I had somehow disconnected something in order to get the light to come on so the car would be cheaper. This is completely unacceptable behaviour. He seems very new at what he does and this is reflected in the fact that he can throw around such accusations. Complete waste of time from a completely unprofessional, substandard dealer. Avoid.
