A decent bar for sure. The place was refurbished maybe two years back and looks much better for it. The big screens and projector are higher quality than you see in other 'sports bars', and the sound system equals it too. Good prices for drinks and the grub deals are value for money. I'm easily pleased on the food front but I enjoy their offerings, in particular the Wednesday curry night. Too many kids running around for me (it is a family place), but the large dining area contains them pretty well normally. Gets jammed on match days but still roomy enough to be able to stand with your mates. Later opening hours would be loads better for me, at least until Midnight.

A hungry horse pub, but don't let that put you off, standard pub fayre, you get a decent feed for a couple of quid, daily offers and decent range of standard beers and lager. Big screen TVs for sport and a couple of pool tables and two drinking areas out front and back with ample parking. Gets very busy with diners and civil servants.

We go here for food and a pint and is very good.need more staff behind the bar but a very pleasant place to go to.we have been back to the newton and it is good that there is more staff at the bar.two new girls. a much better services well done.see you again soon.

Been here several times with my girlfriend. Great pub. Great food. Fab relaxed atmosphere. Staff very attentive, pleasant and very welcoming. Compliments to the chefs and bar staff. Will return . Look forward to our next visit 😜
