Disgusting,9.20 am on the 10th nov.22.nobody here waiting to get blood test done.the 2 "nurses "? who should do the bloods are drinking coffee and having a conversation with a lady and a laugh.i did not have an appointment not that i did not try but the next available one is on the 26th.iam in my 60s disabled with the mother of all chest infections but would they help me..not a chance..let's have another cuppa instead.. iam annoyed by the fact that the topic of their conversation was more important that being nice and helping somone who was clearly distressed ,caring those 2 were not.but hey ho, let's have another cuppa
Doesn't even deserve the 1 star. Travelled over half an hour to get here for 9 when the place isn't even got any staff around to help. Sat and waited for my appointment just to be told that the department was closed today because of staff being sick and they have only just found out & to be told we could've just went to Whiston Hospital which is 5 minutes for me for a walk in scan. Absolute joke
I went for my blood test this morning but the attitude of the blood nurse was bad I was 20 min early so I ask could I get in I was told to sit down and they would call me there was no one in the waiting room then she ask what time my appointment is I said 8.50 she said you are to early go and come back 5 min before there was still no one in the waiting room and they were calling names that wasn't there so I will not be getting my blood taken at Newton community hospital the staff are terrible ???
Never answer the phone tell you to ring at 8 but it’s engaged because everybody trying get through at once for an appointment for sooner than 2 month away
Went to have blood taken and the ladies in the phlebotomy department were fantastic, professional and friendly. A delightful experience.
Always been an efficient blood clinic and is very well managed .The appointment system -although you have to book in advance means I've never waited more than a few minutes.Lovely staff and a free car park make it a good choice x
This hospital is great. Take my 94 year old Dad here every 3 months to have his ears syringed. Very clean, tidy and well-organised. Staff are lovely and very attentive and the appointments run to time. Cannot fault in any way. Wonderful place.
I was an inpatient for several weeks for rehab following a leg amputation. The care I received was brilliant. OT support was amazing. Every member of staff from catering staff to the doctors treated me with dignity and respect. The ward really is a caring place with the human touch. Thank you to all the staff and I will pop back once I'm up and walking on a prosthetic xx
Lovely, clean, new, modern and very nice staff. I just wish people would not park on the ambulance only yellow box at the rear its so upsetting to see this abused by the lazy people of our area . One day someone could really need it.
Clean and tidy in the public areas and treatment rooms and pleasant and helpful staff
