Bev & the whole team at Neweys were absolutely fantastic from the moment we first walked in the door! After a very unsuccessful day at the Jewellery Quarter trying to get engagement ring ideas we went into Neweys last on a whim.. thank god we did!! The lovely lady with the short white hair whose name escapes me was so friendly, took the time and care to talk us through and show us different diamonds and we discussed ring ideas. Explaining cut, clarity, colour etc I was SO NERVOUS being in the presence of diamonds let alone handling them and she put me at ease as she's so relaxed. Neweys were the only jewellers that gave us the loupes to see the diamonds magnified! They really included us in every aspect. We spent far more time in Neweys that most of the other jewelers combined and weren't rushed at all. We were so impressed with them. They took our custom design which was a rough pencil sketch suggested ways to improve it I now know what 'wed-fit' is and ran with it, creating us a CAD design so we could see what the ring would look like before it was created and make any adjustments we wanted. They put a brilliant diamond aside for us whilst they ordered in some specifically sized black diamonds for our design. I live in Kent and they were more than happy to hold everything and not begin making the ring until I could get back to double check the black diamonds in the flesh and remeasure my finger again to make sure that hadn't changed They are so down to earth, friendly and honest! A real rare gem, no pun intended I never thought we would find somewhere so brilliant. We will definitely be back to design our wedding rings and will never go anywhere else now. Well worth the journey! Thank you Neweys! Update: In the past few months SO many people have commented on how amazing the ring is!
Highly recommend getting your engagement ring at Newey’s. I personally like to say thanks to Bev, she really helped me with picking the ring and going through every details. Unfortunately, we had to get the ring resized as it was too large and the customer service we received here was second to none. Everything felt so personal and there was no pressure on purchasing at all. My now fiancé is very happy with the ring.
Bought my partners engagement ring from Neweys last year after finding their shop, personally think this is the best shop in the jewellery quarter. After recieving great customer service the first time, we ended up buying our wedding rings aswell from them. Although i forgot the sales assistants name, they have all been extremely friendly, helpful and would reccomend anybody to them whos looking for a ring. Thank you for making it very easy for us!
Amazing is an understatement. Walked into a few shops before entering Neweys, and just wasn't impressed by any of the selection. Walked into Newey's and was greeted by Bev who was nothing short great the whole way. We customised an engagement rings where she even ordered diamonds in from another country. Great service throughout highly recommended.
Living in Devon, planning for a wedding and buying rings at the jewellery quarter in a day could have been stressful. Having visited 7 retailers we were put at ease by the lovely Felicity and her team where nothing was too much hassle and at the best price! So much so we got an extra gemstone ring. How many jewelers have their own gemologist! Great staff and Felicity is so personable! Don't go anywhere else best price and best service.
I took my wife on our 10th anniversary to get an eternity ring. We had our wedding bands and engagement rings from here too. The service is 2nd to none. John jeweller took our old rings, checked the stone set and polished then there and then. He also resized my wedding ring for me. I cant praise them enough. Thanks so much
Really warm and super friendly staff. Compared to all other jewellers, it was refreshing to enter and feel extremely welcomed straight away. Staff can't do enough for you and make a real fuss. My partner choose an engagement for me with the help of Felicity. She is a super lovely woman and a credit to the jewellers. She takes extra care in making sure everything if perfect for you. We needed to go back to have my ring resized, when she told us that polishing on our platinum band and resizing for the next 5 years was free. It was absolutely buzzing in there with people and I can see why. Best Jewellers in the JQ! THANKS AGAIN X
I recently brought my engagement ring from Newey's. They were the first shop I went into when I was first looking for ideas. I went back the next day and brought a bespoke ring. Fantastic customer service. Special shout out to Zoe and Daisy for all the help they gave me. I will 100% go back to this jewellers in the future.
From the Minute you work through the door and your greeted by the lovely gentleman Dickie , who was so warm and friendly , who happily buzzed us into the extensive diamond section , I have never experienced such amazing customer service , I was greeted by a young knowledgeable young lady named Georgia , who helped me pick out the most amazing 20th wedding anniversary Present, not only did she take the time to explain all the different diamonds , sizes , clarity , she made sure I was 100% happy with my purchase . I just happed to catch a glimpse of some beautiful gold and emerald earrings, I had to purchase, I was then helped by a young Scottish lady called Felicity . She was so friendly , she took her time out of her busy afternoon to help select the perfect pair . When I was leaving I was lucky enough to be introduced to the owners, Angie & John , they really do know there stuff , I was like a magpie , their jewellery showroom is simply beautiful, filled with so many sparkly, perfectly deigned and crafted jewellery to suit all budgets . I can’t wait to revisit .
Just the most wonderful jewellers ever. I travelled from Oxfordshire to Birmingham with my Mum to choose some earrings for my 40th Birthday. From the moment we walked in the customer service was fantastic; the care and attention we received was second to none. We were able to choose two diamonds that matched and had them made into the most beautiful platinum and diamond stud earrings. Thank you - we will certainly be back!
